Me too. I'v got a feeling he,s gonna have a good camp and will start in Montreal as the 13th forward, even as the regular RW on the 4th line with White as center and Moen as LW.

The guy has the size, the guts, can skate.
I like that fourth line.....I dont know if white can play center at the nhl and win some faceoffs but i like this crash and bang line.

Agreed, and while they crash and bang, they can still contribute a bit on the scoresheet from time to time, and play defensively very proficiently at the same time. Now, with JM at the helm, will this line even be tried ?

People seem to think that face-off abilities are what seperates centers from wingers. While face-off efficiency is a factor there are other factors that are possibly more important.
A Center should be a strong skater as he is required to cover considerably more ice than a winger. This position also requires a high hockey IQ and good vision at both end of the ice.
I don't think White is a very good option as he simply doesn't have the wheels or vision to play the position effectively.
At this point i kind of feel that the 13th forward spot is Blunden's to lose...that said i still think we will add a veteran forward that will push Blunden down to the AHL to start the season (baring injury to the other top 12).

And who become the 13th forward? White or Darche

Blunden has the size that scouts drool over and he isn’t shy about using his frame to bang and crash in the corners. He hasn’t shown the hands yet to be a big scorer, but he may be a late bloomer in that regard and as long as he is willing to go hard to the net and play in the trenches he will get his share of points.
I'd rather have Aaron first line AHL rather then 13th in Montreal when we have someone more "suited" for a enforcer/energy line role
I can't figure out why people keep trying to shoehorn palushaj into the lineup. He's not ready. Even if he impresses at camp, there's no room for him. The chance that having palushaj in our lineup making us a better team (assuming there isn't some crazy rash of injuries) is so low in my mind that's it's not even worth considering at the moment.
I don't see how anyone can not conceivably see that Engqvist is pencilled in for 4th line duties. Meaning White/Darche are going to be the 13th man.
It makes more sence of having Moen-Engqvist-White as a 4th line then Blunden in the line-up for sure. Cunneyworth is super high on the kid and he's now assistant coach. Hopefully he brings
It still pisses me off though that we couldn't get one of Rupp/ Konopka for 4th line center duties....
Not sure that i would assign that nbr to either one of them...i'm quite comfortable with both of those guys being in and out of the lineup this season. With injury fill ins both could play 60 games and i'd be happy with that.
Guys... each team normally keeps 3 extra players who arn't dressing... normally 2 forwards and 1 defenseman, but it can vary. In this case, I see Engqvist being given the 4th line center position as well, with Blunden and one of White or Darche on the bench, while one of Weber/spacek/Yemelin sits in the pressbox for D.

Kinda agree overlords. I could see Palushaj forcing his way into the line up by mid season just because he's putting up such sick numbers in Hamilton.
