AHL goaltender vs ECHL one...and a stacked Sens prospect team, lol...that wasn't pleasant at all.
4-0 and the Pens out shot them 42-37. Hopefully the next game, they put up a better effort, although it's tough to blame them when they were up against a pretty damn good team and probably the best prospect team in this tourney the Pens are involved in.
Is there room on the baby pens for a skill guy? Thier lines seem like theyll b crowded as is.
If he gets signed to an AHL level contract by Shero, then he'll go to the AHL camp and battle for a spot like everyone else, hopefully he can earn a spot. If not, he'll start in the ECHL and with injuries happening to some players every season, he could earn a shot and stick. Never know with these things.
It'd be nice to have one of these types of guys in the Pens AHL/ECHL system, you never know...

We sat our best two defensemen in Despres & Bortuzzo, and one of our most skilled forwards in Veilleux, and most experienced forward in Sill. Not taking anything away from Ottawa. Their defense was great, shots were sticking to Lehner like velcro, and they had a lot of offensive weapons. But if we wanted to make it more competitive we easily could have. Looks like we wanted to get some good looks at younger less experienced players, this game at least.

Good points, not to mention Bennet isn't even eligible to play in this tournament since he is in college. But for most of the game the Sens defense didnt really give up much. From what I saw Tangradi looked pretty good as well. Also morrows skating was pretty good especially on breakouts.

These players, along with a select few others, won’t all be dressing for each game, as the Penguins staff knows what to expect from them on the ice. They’ll be relied on more for what they can bring off the ice.
“One of the reasons we have the older guys is because it is a good week for them to get prepared for the main camp, but it’s also a chance for them to be leaders and be able to lead the way,” Wilkes-Barre/Scranton head coach John Hynes, who is behind the bench for the Penguins this weekend. “We don’t have all of those guys playing each night. They are going to sit out some nights. So everyone’s going to be able to step up and play.”
I don't really like watching games on my computer. I prefer a big screen and a comfortable couch over a tiny monitor and an office chair. So I was kind of hoping Maple Leafs TV would televise the game. I don't think it is, though.

They're doing their "Game In An Hour" at midnight.

Your laptop probably has an s-video and/or HDMI out port. $15-20 at RadioShack for a cable will solve your problem.
Here's the lineup for tonight's game, with the numbers each player is wearing in front of their names. The scratches are Eric Tangradi, Brian Strait, Carl Sneep and Nick Petersen.
Are the leafs going to have a link pop up when they have a stream available? Since it will be on a 30min delay, just wanted to find out now rather than asking later.
