Bourque is a more established NHLer with a few more seasons under his belt.

Both players have put up similar stats. IMHO they are both perfectly capable 2nd line wingers. But Kulemin is not better than Bourque, Kulemin has the potential to be better than Bourque in the future.

If Lupul can stay healthy he's actually a pretty solid top line winger IMO

Agreed. This upcoming season will hopefully show us that is the case and proof that last season was no fluke.

Hey, its all fair for the fact we gave you Aulie, this would make up for it. And didn't you hear, Stajan is in the best shape of his life, you know you want him back.

That Phaneuf guy isn't do bad either that doesn't mean we want to do o a favour by taking stajan back.

Only way we take Stajan back is if the return is similar to the Lombardi trade we made with Nashville

i prefer stajan to bozak, and im a bourque fan, but i cant justify trading away kulemin.
i'm sick of trading guys so young and watching them flourish other places.

WOW... kulemin is way overrated... by the sound of TO fans you'd think hes right there with Ovechkin .... and way i think the flames would ask for macarther, 2nd, and a prospect

What about this then, Bourque, Stajan, Nemisz for Kulemin, Bozak and a 5th round?

If the Flames trade Bourque they are losing a good chunk of their offence, we would need some coming back. The only player on the Leafs that fits the direction the Flames are going in is Kulemin.

JUST GIVE UP. Kulemin won't be traded unless Packaged for a true #1 C or an elite LW.

Rene Bourque would be nice but the Leafs have enough 2nd line wingers that trading anything valuable for him is unrealistic

Saying Kulemin is way better than Bourque is absurd. He's only had one good season so far. Hasn't Bozak taught you anything? Just because a guy scores 30 goals, doesn't mean he's a consistent 30 goal scorer. With Bourque, you KNOW he'll be around there, and he brings a nasty physical game. His value right now is higher than Kulemin's, at least until Kulemin follows up last year with another good one.

You need to take age into consideration Kulemin just turned 25 and he has a 30 goal year, his point totals have risen every year since he entered the NHL and he's got a cap hit of 2.35 million.

Bourque on the other hand is 29, has never had a 30 goal season and has a higher cap hit and his point totals actually dropped from 58 points in 200-2010 to 50 points in 2010-2011.

You want to talk about the physical game Kulemin is anything but soft.

All major factors go in Kulemins favour the numbers back it up so why would Bourque be worth Kulemin based on the numbers I provided? the answer is he isn't and the numbers prove that.

That said I like Bourque I just woiuldn't part with Kulemin to get him.
