What if we did a "live draft" sort of thing where on a certain day of the week we hold a live draft with a 5 minute time limit or something like that. Just a suggestion. I just think it's more realistic which makes it funner, IMO. That would solve the slow pace of a 30 team draft at least.
If the live draft thing wouldn't work I understand. I've been in plenty of drafts and one of the best I've been in did this live draft thing. It would actually work well since most of us are in the same time zone too. If you think it's too much work, understandable. I can help if needed though.
My plan is to do the live draft if possible, but id do wanna stick with 16, because with 30 people each round of the draft could easily be an hour+ long. I apologize... If u want to help he can be commisioner of the second league
Cmon guys, we need a commisioner for the second league, its not much work, you pre much just have to set up the league, by following what options i set, ill tell you what i set after the first league is made!

How is Yahoo fantasy hockey these days? It fell behind what ESPN offers a few seasons ago (in terms of LM ability to customize the league), and I was wondering if anyone who uses both interfaces could offer a more recent comparison?

for someone who is fairly new around her to put pressure on people to join his league or create one that can not actually be created yet is silly
Im not trying to put pressure on anyone at all, i asked if people where intrested in playng, and i was uber excited and just cant wait for hockey
As for putting pressure for people to be commish, i only did that because i was worried for the people who joined league 2, i didnt want to have to say we cant do it.
I'll commish the second league as long as you let me set it up similar to how I usually do and cap it at 12 managers. Having a deeper roster/bench is better than having too many managers.
Also - for everyone who is in the HF Oiler Rumble keeper league I run every year, I will be renewing it as soon as registration is open. I will also renew one or two of the other ones I ran.
Anyone interested in joining a committed, serious keeper league that we've run for the past 3 years, PM me. Open spots from any non-returning managers will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. SERIOUS PLAYERS ONLY who will stay active and not drop out when they lose the first two weeks.
RETURNING MEMBERS - I will be replacing those managers who have been inactive for a while now. I'll dig through my inbox and last year's league to check out any talk of changes to this year but if you want anything changed or have any suggestions, I'm open to discussion. I don't make it around here as much as I used to but I'll make a point of trying; the best way to reach me, however, is via PM/email.
Oh and one more thing - anyone interested in Fantasy Football? I've renewed HF Edmonton II from last year and may create another H2H league. I will try to find a Fantasy Football thread and post there but the search function isn't working for me right now. League info will be available to the rest of you once I give returning managers time to respond to my invites.
