Too bad Saad missed so much time with the Hawks,WJC and injury.He would be (and still might be) close.As it is he leads the OHL in PPG,not too shabby.

He actually does not get all the minutes... there are times Cousins gets 4 or 5 shifts a period, because Stapleton is obsessed with playing the match up game... Cousins plays 1st PP and 2nd PK, for obvious reasons. I would argue if you put him on London, Kitchener, Windsor he would get more ice time, as some teams prefer to play their stars regardless of situation, or who they are matched up against. One thing is for sure, as bad as the Hounds have been, Cousins and Sproul have proved themselves as two elite players, and hopefully we can give them some support next year.

How many teams in this league would Cousins not be the go to guy??...he has played absolutely great this year..

like? a lot of guys have more pro potential, they have the size, strength, board play, 2 way game that Cousins lacks sometimes.. but from an offensive stand point, not too many teams have a guy better then him based purely on scoring and setting players up
