McGinn. Late bloomer and a two way player now that can eventually translate into a checker at the NHL level if he continues to develop

You guys see the hockey buzz article?

Couturier #1!!!

Kind of optimistic, seeing as schenn was the #1 prospect on hf boards...

Also the comparables are hilarious...schenn to Richards, couturier to carter LOL

I really hope couturier plays more physical than carter...like JvR was this year, just plain mean.
If he could get to that level of physicality he'd be a beast.

It wasn't Meltzer. You got me intrigued for a minute so I went to look.

He really likes McGinn and Suellentrop too. Both are in his top 10.

EDIT: He also compared Akeson to a Claude Giroux/Clarke MacArthur hybrid which is the most accurate description of his potential NHL-type I've ever heard. Granted it's a little lofty. Take that Giroux/MacArthur hybrid and bring his offense down a couple dozen points, and it's perfect.

In response to the OP, yeah don't bother adding anyone. I think what we see is what will be filling the top 20.

I think if Lehtivuori can get back on track he'd be a solid NHLer. There are guys who could probably be ranked higher than him though.

I think we have as good of a chance at seeing Popov as we do Lehtivuori. I think he is completely out of the Flyers plans.

yea lol, sorry to disappoint...

Anything Bill writes is pure gold at this point.

I think he's right on with Akeson. We underrated the **** out of him (b/c we are jaded to overagers)

Akeson reminds me of briere (personality wise):
he needs to feel like he is "part of it" on his line. If he is, he will explode with points...if not, he wont give 100%

i really hope he gets it together and has a good camp though, heres to hoping we see him in O&B in the next 2 years!
