Simon worked Del Potro over in that 3rd set. Delpo is stumbling around like there's lead bricks in his shoes.

Del Potro has found a second wind and now Simon is the one looking a bit gassed. Hoping this one goes to 5 sets because it's keeping me entertained in the office while I'm grading.

Simon-Del Po match should've been on the centre court rather than than Roddick-Benneateau... but USTA just isn't bold enough like Wimbledon. Anyways, I'll stop complaining about that now.

That match was superb, and I really loved Simon's return game. Just amazing.

8th match point the charm for Stosur.

When's the last time that Zvonareva had a melt-down? Ages ago. Her shot selection, placement and tactics were impeccable against Lisicki--she's become a very thoughtful player. I'd absolutely love to see Vera win this thing, and the way that she is playing combined with her draw the rest of the way means that she should get to the finals.

Nadal's cramps were crazy, I think the schedule might be a bit too grueling.

As somebody living in Europe, who isn't going to stay up for anything on primetime in the US, I support their decision.

Fish-Tsonga could be a great match, but Monaco-Federer is only close if Federer's off.

Since it's Labor Day, the TV schedule is focused on mid-day coverage for CBS as if it were a weekend day, which is why they want not only the best (on paper) match during the early afternoon, but also the one featuring the top-ranked American player.

CBS is f'ing annoying...they keep showing some heavy rain warning on the top of the screen, can't see the player at the top of the screen...and they show it like every 5 minutes. I can't stand the french commentators on RDS here, but I'll have to switch to them.

Serena-Ana was pretty good for a 6-3, 6-4 match, but the result was not at all surprising.

Delgopolov is hanging in there with Djokovic so far.

Dolgopolov is so aggressive, could really get used to seeing him play Djokovic. Going to be a great match this.

He needs to stop being obsessed with that backhand slice if he doesn't want to lose in straights. It's not fooling Novak.

Fish got fried in the 5th, not like it's a surprise anyway, but how come that match was on Ashe and Djokocic on the Louis Armstrong court ? It's a little disrespectful to have the #1 on the outside court and a guy who didn't have a chance to win anything on the main one.

Wozniaki-Kuznetsova has been solid tennis so far.

It was a solid first set, Wozniacki has folded like a cheap suit in the second. Nice job number one.

She's at least making it interesting again now.

Just as you post that, Kuznetsova starts spraying the ball around and Wozniacki gets back in the match.
