She may be beautiful, but I just cant root for Woz. Dont like the way she plays.

I know I am late to the party but that Joker first set tiebreaker was great today.

Late for the party, too. Well, it wouldn't be the US Open if Kuznetsova didn't have at least one of these kind of matches.

UEs aside (which are kind of inevitable in this match with the shot selection each of these players uses), this has been some good back-and-forth tennis. The momentum swings are making for a compelling match.

For those who were complaining about Federer being in primetime tonight, well, it's looking like that was all for naught. Oh yeah, and the best match of the day IS in primetime.

Huge hold for Svetlana, for 1-2. She's not the type to go quietly.

Yup, got quite a bit more time left too, only 2-1 now.

Fed match is gonna run real late. Crazy how they can start at that time.

Yeah, I felt that as soon as Woz broke Kuznetsova's first serve in 3rd set.

Wozniacki's superior fitness has been really clear in this set.

Hell of a comeback for Caroline from 6-7, 0-3. She did look cool as a cucumber at the end, too.

I'd be more pleased about this if I were still living on the west coast. Even if Roger cruises in straights it will probably go until at least 2am.

To be fair, the only reason this is starting so late is because there have been 4 very good matches that preceded it.

Doesn't look like Roger plans to be out there too long, though.

At this point this looks like it'll be 6-0, 6-0, 6-0. Federer probably wants to go to sleep soon.

I thought there was something wrong with the clock when I saw it at 3-0 after 6 minutes. I basically went to get a drink and Federer was up 3-0. This is on pace to end in under an hour.

Edit: 1st set in 19 minutes.

Federer looks like the only player today whose shots are completely unaffected by the wind. Everything had been a freaking laser.

Me too, he's not even playing badly! Plenty of pretty good, hard shots but Roger is just demolishing him.

An awful lot of New Yorkers seem to have stayed to watch this so far. That is quite a complement to Federer.
