me, the wife and kid went. Saw Mase and Tyutin signing autographs. Long lines to shoot the puck on the arena. Looked like a hockey practice was going on in the Haus.

Big bubble hockey table sans bubble. There was an animal exhibit that the kid liked. There was a twister/hula hoops station the kid liked. There was a bounce house the kid liked. Stinger was there. A totally white living hockey player statue was there. Street hockey by the escalator.

Basically I went so the kid could see and do some fun stuff, and I could check out my seats for my 6 game package and get amped for my view. Success.

Had a great time. Got autographs from Nash, Mason, Tyutin, Carter and Arniel. Also watched the skills comp at the end of the night on the ice. Happy to finally get to see Dex on the ice.

Went and had a good time. Sat in on the Coach's Q&A, although it was more of the coaches talking amongst themselves, rather than a public Q&A. Waited about 15 minutes to get autographs from Methot and Nicholas Drazenovi. Walked right up to get autographs from Mark Dekanich and Derek MacKenzie.

It was just nice to be back in Nationwide and to feel that hockey is almost back.

Everything that they put on was great, at least what I saw of it for about an hour.

My only complaint was that they were charging concert prices for a beer. Yep, $8.50 for a 16oz.

I would have thought they would have dropped the prices a bit, but no way. I know it was a family event, but give me a break.

Marc Methot and Fedor Tyutin were especially nice. You could tell Methot was having fun with the Skills competition. I felt bad for that osu goalie

Fan, "What's wrong with your knee?"

Vinny, "Nothing. It is old knee."

The skills competition featured a three-on-one rush in a one minute dash to score as many goals as the teams could score. Each team's forwards took on the opposing team's defenseman and goalie. The teams were:

R. Russell-St. Pierre-Drazenovic
Methot
Dekanich

Mayorov-MacKenzie-Calvert
Johnson
OSU Goalie

OSU's goalie was schooled several times by the AHLers. Russell had a couple pretty goals himself.

LOL! Yep, that sure sounds like Prospal all right. If he starts the season as I think and hope he should, be prepared for one hell of a ride.
