UFC on Fox could have a BIG debut

in an article I just read it says that should anderson win his next fight Dan Henderson could be next in line for a shot at the title. Failing that Chael Sonnen would be pulled from his fight with Stann and be given a Rematch. Brian Stan would then fight Belfort.

I would be down with either matchup, but I really would prefer a Sonnen vs Silva rematch.

I don't really want to see Henderson at 185 anymore, so I'll hope for an easy Silva win this weekend followed by Sonnen/Silva 2.

If those reports are true, I'm hoping for the same, especially if it also results in a Belfort/Stann fight. I think there are better fights at 205 for Hendo anyway.

Agreed. Hendo looks and performs so much better @ 205 then 185.

Not if he has to fight @ 185.

His cut against Jake Shields last year was horrible, he was gassed after the first round.

I'd rather see Silva/American Gangster 2

Silva/Henderson at 185 makes no sense to me. Hendo should be staying at 205 until the end of his career, he looked terrible against Shields

Sonnen does not deserve a shot at the title. Let's see if he can win off of his roids first. You know, because he was a middling fighter prior to juicing.

He deserves a shot more than Henderson does

I'm fine with that, so give it to Stann then. Or Jacare. Or maybe Okami/Silva will have a classic so there will be an obvious rematch. Either way, I'd rather see Henderson at 205 than at a weight class he hasn't looked great at in a long time.

Hold up. Chael Sonnen loses, is caught cheating, and gets an immediate title shot rematch?

Somewhere out there Nate Marquardt and Josh Barnett are shaking their heads in disbelief.

Disagreeing with TRT doesn't make it cheating. Nate Marquardt destroyed a main event, that's why he was cut.

And Sonnen wouldn't have destroyed the legitimacy of the Middleweight Title had he finished the fight against Silva, only to be DQ'ed and stripped of the belt? That would have been far worse than ruining a fight that hasn't even happened yet.

I'm drooling over the fight that Bendo and Guida's managers have been hyping. That would be a fantastic matchup.

Dan Henderson vs Machida or Stann vs Belfort mixed with Guida vs Ben Henderson would be a SOLID 2 fight free card.

Anderson Silva won't be fighting at this event, according to Dana White himself.

"It's not true," he said. "I saw that rumor too. ... If he goes out and wins in 13 seconds, he's not (being) considered for the FOX show."
http://mmajunkie.com/news/24960/dana...-happening.mma

I think at this point, a Hendo/Machida and Guida/Henderson card could be one of the best possibilities. Or maybe a fight involving Vitor Belfort.
