$10 Ticket Info:
The $10 tickets are a day-to-day thing with lines varying depending on the games*: Weekday (non-rivals) - probably should get there around 5, or later if it's a really lousy draw Weekday (rivals and special games) - probably need to get there 3-4 Rangers - try 1-2ish Weekend - probably need to get there at least three hours before game time
*These are just educated guesses from what has been said on other forums. Tickets go on sale at 5 now, not 5:30, at least according to the Devils' website.

I'm sorry but this pricing for next season is insulting. For games against NYR and any other games they deem to be "premier" prices go up SIGNIFICANTLY. Regular games prices go up a little bit and for the special games they are so-so. 10$ seats are gone and are up 10-15$. This team will never stop trying to **** the hell out of its fans wallets.

As they should. It's going to sell out regardless.
If you can't afford at least $20 to go see a game, you shouldn't be going at all.

Ummm yeah I can afford at least 20$... But not when that figure represents a tiny amount of seats in the building... Then the next level is in the 30-40 range... after getting beat up with fees and shipping/printing it ends up being 40 something per ticket. Fine... we'll be able to make it to 5 games this year maybe at that rate...
Since when are there 44 home games? Preseason being counted or are they just dumb?
Preseason is always included. It's stupid.

See for someone who only wants attend "premium" games, that's the problem. There's no reason you can't go to other games.
And maybe if you weren't so snippy you might be able to ask a certain season ticket holder to help you out and get you the cheaper rates!

Haha Jaime you should know I'd never be snippy towards you. You're my buddy! That's how I'll have to go to games this year is with the help of good friends such as yourself.
But I've been going to games since I was 5 years old... Jamie and I work unbelievably hard to get to games... and now we're being told that our hard work isn't good enough that we have to pay even more to see good games... How could anyone be content blowing paychecks on games to see Carolina, Florida, and Columbus on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.... We may as well just stay home and watch the games on one of our nice TVs. It's unfortunate the Devils don't take people such as myself into account unless I can drop a few grand on the spot for season tickets. It's unfair really.

But here's the deal - if we were over at the other building, $20 would be the minimum price.
Tiered pricing is really trying to get people to other games by making them less expensive and by upping the prices of games they KNOW people will go to and could potentially be sellouts. It's a smart thing for this team.

I just don't agree that it's smart. The NJ/NYR games aren't even selling out and neither is opening night. There were a significant amount of empty seats in some of the NYR games this year... Philly is not even a big draw anymore... It seems like if it draws 16k or over they just round up to a sellout... and now those seats are going to be even more expensive. I just think it's a bad move.
Basically the team has a lot of empty seats... and a lot of people like myself WANT to fill them and the team keeps making it harder and harder.
The pricing could be better but it is a step in the right direction. We are still going to have the usual weekend sellouts mixed with absolutely abysmal early season midweek crowds. But again, one foot forward.
Kinda sucks that the ten dollar line is gone but that thing was controlled as well as Somalia, so **** the line cutters right in their keysters,....meester.
Yeah looks like it. I don't have a problem with it at all.
well, neither do I, since I have seasons... As a STH, I'm pretty happy with this pricing structure. The prices aren't absurdly low for anything, so it might actually be worthwhile to sell a couple games here and there.
