UK/Ireland: Leafs Fans
As the season approaches, out here in Belfast, this former Torontonian is preparing himself for late nights at weekends, streaming Hockey Night In Canada in live at midnight into my apartment once again!
No Labbats, no Ruffles & dip either sadly, but we improvise (& I don't mean by necessarily visiting the local Giants games EVERY saturday ).
No you can't replace the real thing & indeed my fiancee & I are looking forward to a Christmas visit back to Toronto & getting to a couple of Leafs games.
Just wondering if you or anyone else on the board may know of any Leafs fans based out here in Northern Ireland or elsewhere on the Emerald Isle who are also diehard Leafs fans.
The reason? I am interested in setting up a Leafs fanclub over here.
Would be a great oppurtunity to hookup & talk hockey here in Belfas & get the most out of the games we can see on ESPN America.
Heck we could even extend this beyond Belfast/Dublin & into Scotland as well eh?
