You could, just, you know, become a full time Preds fan.
Seriously though, always room for one more
The Preds are fun, enjoyable, and I do like my time here... but they're not why I became a hockey fan. There's just a precedent there that would be difficult to overcome.

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!

That's why I was a Pensacola Ice Pilots fan until a few years ago

serious question here: Let's say your favorite player or two on Cbus (Nash? Umberger? whoever you like) got traded to Nashville. Would you follow your favorites or stick to the franchise?

Stick to the franchise. I've already seen favorites go.
That said, at this point the same is more or less true for Nashville if Suter ends up leaving.
My Law and Legal Systems professor wants us to be prepared to discuss the Davis v Davis case in which a couple was seeking divorce. They had no children, but they were using in vitro fertilization to try to conceive. There were 7 (maybe) embryos, and were asking the Court to settle the question of whether the embryos were children or property.
Tuesday he wanted us to be prepared to discuss how to use the ladder of abstraction to solve the Fitzgerald Rule conundrum posed by the juxtaposition of rules 602 and 702 of the Rules of Evidence.

I want to take a nap.

Oh and we had a paper due today analyzing the way the legal system intersected and interacted with other systems (social, economic, political, military, etc) in Le Colonel Chabert by Honore de Balzac.
I'm by no means practicing law, but so far this course is like a couple of never-ending papers... except he doesn't make us write much as long as we are able to intelligently discuss the issues in class.
GnR played here last night, too. On the radio this morning, they were *****ing because they didn't hit the stage until almost 12:30 AM.
Once a pretentious piece of ****, always a pretentious piece of ****
And in case it isn't obvious, I hate Axl Rose and GnR with a passion. Always have, always will.
(Has anyone seen the GnR forum war between Axl Rose [username: Dexter] and his fans? It was pretty funny once the moderators had confirmed it was indeed Axl who was being trolled hard by his "fans")

one of the coolest things to ever happen on the internet.
a) continue to have allergy problems where my eyes swell shut, my hands swell up where I have to cut my work gloves off my hands and my throat swells up
b) take $100 a month of meds which dehydrate myself so much that I can't go to the bathroom anymore and when I sweat I smell like a meth lab
