Ooh, didn't catch that. Very clever.

Although it makes it unreadable in the mobile version of the site

Marvelous. The guys on the Sharks board always set a high standard for GDTs.

We've gotten some really good crowds for Centennial games, but then again the school is literally a mile down the road from the rink. Our first game at Centennial this season was on Rink B and the stands were full against JPII, but for our second game there this season against Mt. Juliet it wasn't nearly as full and mainly made up of family and friends. Prior to our first game against JPII the crowd was quite large for Ensworth and I believe MBA. The stands at A-Game were packed for Ravenwood-Brentwood on Wednesday night with both teams celebrating senior night.

Again, it really depends on the team...
When I was playing for Centennial\Franklin High School in the late 90s, we were lucky to have 30-40 people in the crowd.

It's come a long way.

If our schools co-opted this season there would be more than double that on the roster...

I was playing on the other rink and got to pop in for the last 30 seconds or so. Good for Centennial. I can't f***ing stand Ravenwood. Sorry if there are any players/fans of that team here, but in the 30 seconds I watched, I saw a two handed crosscheck to the face for no reason, right as a game is ending, a goalie slam his stick on the ice to break it, and a player try to skate off the ice to avoid the handshake. That is no way to be a hockey team. Honestly, it was disgusting to watch. Put that on top of 2-3 other dirty, injuring hits I saw in other games tonight, and my opinion of most players in this league took a big hit.

Congrats on the big win SLake. Your fans and players looked like they were having the time of their lives. Cheering for you and Brentwood in the tournament (Brentwood has 5 of my former travel teammates on the roster).

So I'm at a medical meeting in orlando and its cold with temps on the 40s at night. Luckily I brought the Preds hoodie and hat so I was warm in the parks at night. Last night ran into a couple of guys in redwings gear who thought they would punk me about our attendance... I corrected him on that and then he said something about us having "Steve Nash".... I gave him a w t f look and then said do you mean Rick Nash? He was like oh yeah and then I told him that was columbus etc and so after a couple more minutes he finally said "well good talking to a real hockey fan".... total fail, wings fan.... total fail...

Hope you have a good time in Florida, make sure you get some golf in if you play.
Secondly, thank you for not letting them punk you about attendance. Trust me, plenty of Canadians here in Taiwan try to punk me about attendance. And furthermore they can't be an NHL fan if they think Steve Nash plays hockey and not basketball.

Ah, the stereotypical Wingus Bandwagonus who knows nothing about the sport yet still ignorantly pontificates in public.

Last night we had some Canadian fans behind us and they were most complimentary of our arena and the game. They said the experience was awesome!

I have reached a new level of boredom. I created an acting cast if they made The Expendables in 1970 during the height of action movies and blacksplotation films

Yes, yes, yes.

I reaching about 45 guys and girls, not sure if I want to push this further into a vote but.

Diana Rigg
Charlton Heston
Bruce Lee
Clint Eastwood
Lee Marvin
Paul Neuman
Steve McQueen
Jim Brown
Sean Connery
George Lazenby (I know, I know. BUT ex-Bond and co-star with Lee in movie)
Burt Reynolds
Robert Redford (Butch and Sundance were in 1969)
Marlon Brando

Richard Roundtree
Michael Caine (Get Carter 1969 makes him a baddies candidate)
Robert Shaw
Charles Bronson
William Holden
Gene Hackman
Yul Brenner
Telly Sevales
Faye Dunaway (When she played De Winter in the Three Musketeers series he was EVIL!)
Jack Nicholson
John Cassevetes
Jackie Chan (Was a guy who got his ASS kicked by Bruce Lee in one of Lee's movies.)
AHHHNOLD (Hercules in NY was in 1969, JUST makes the 1970 deadline)
Roger Moore (1970 was the height of his 'The Saint' TV series)
Chuck Norris
Melvin Van Peebles
Pam Greer (Just makes the cut)
Toshiro Mifune (The Defining samurai in Japanese films. No Toshiro, no Magnificent 7)
Burt Lancaster (Older at this time and would be in a supporting role)
Clevon Little (Other than playing the sheriff in Blazing Saddles was also a blacksplotation actor)
Roy Schenider
Robert Duvall
John Voight
John Wayne (Did not succumb to cancer yet)

Honorable mentions
Randolph Scott
George C. Scott
Jason Robards
Warren Betty
James Brolin
Christopher Lee

This is the rough list, I hopefully will weed this down. 1970 is an odd yr because you have mainstream actors who acted in action films but aren't solely defined in the action role.

Just talked to the girl who is dating Rich Clune. Told her to tell him to keep playing hard every shift.

That I know of, Mike Milbury traded seven Olympians during his tenure as the GM of the New York Islanders. SEVEN.

I wonder if you could make a team made up of NYI castoffs from that period.
