My vote for draft time would be a weeknight (Mon-Thu). 8pm PST works for me, but would really prefer no later (since I'm EST).

I'm on East coast - that makes it 11:00 EST. That's pretty late for a guy who has to get up and go to work in the morning.

i know~ thats why i made it Friday

I have lived in Philly for longest time since moved from Van... and I know the pain..

(hence my name)

But i do know the advantage of doing it on a weekday, fewer ppl would head out for parties..

so what i can recommend in between is

draft time to be on a weekday, but around 7pm PST or 10pm EST..

given our draft history, the thing will be over in 2 hours, which gives you a chance to head to bed before 12:30am...

For an important event like this... you can survive it!! haha

=)

I know I did for the last 7 years =D

So how does this sound

THURSDAY, 7pm PST or 10pm EST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Making it Thursday, 7:30pm, just to be the same time with the H2H league, which is 1 day earlier.

So, 7:30pm, Thursday, 9/29.

=)

Should be good and EVERYONE try to make it.. you have 3 weeks to make your schedule fit!

Don't see any conflicts with my hockey schedule, which is the only thing I need to be worried about really, so I should be good with both times.

Thursday night works well for me. I'm in Chicago until Tuesday evening, so as long as the H2H league stays Wednesday night and this league stays on Thursday then I am set.

I'm looking forward to another year of fantasy hockey with a great bunch of guys.

Unfortunately, I have a class on the 29th and I absolutely cannot miss it. If you guys have this date set and I'm the only conflict, I'll have to bow out for this year. I'll still be ok to stay in the H2H league though.

29th or 30th does not matter to me.

How about 30th for everyone else?

If it is ok, I'll change it to the 30th.?

Thanks

You will not find a date that works for everyone - stick with what works best for majority. I prefer the 29th and not changing it to 30th. Already have 3 things on that night.

you're probably right.

Hard hard, since all 12 managers have been with us together for a number of years.

Oh well, since most prefer the 29th, I'll stick with 29th, unless there are more managers who cant make the 29th

I appreciate the effort to have a date that works for everybody but I totally understand if this won't work. The 30th is probably no good for me either because I'm writing the LSAT on Oct 1. It's probably better for that I sit this one out. Maybe next year if a spot opens up I can re-join.

Psh, LSAT is all logic anyway. Just get a good night's sleep on the 30th, you can take an hour or two break from studying to do the draft. I never really found that studying improved my scores anyway.

haha... speaking from experience here!

I do agree with good night sleep. (at least 10 hours).

Then you'll be fine.

I changed the date back to the original date/time on the 29th, 7:30pm PST time.

Its set.

Full clip, if you cannt make it, let me know.

I'll have to msg one of the guys on the list to let them join

Thanks man.

A COUPLE CHANGES this year.

1. I changed the draft decision time from 1min 30 sec to 1 min 15 seconds! This should speed up our draft.

Usually, this isnt a big issue, but 15 seconds each time will save us at least 30 min overall during the draft. Historically speaking, the draft takes aout 1 hour 30 min to 1 hour 45 min. Now, it should take about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 min.

2. I kinda like the new FAAB rolling list on the waiver priority list. Everyone will have a chance to bid on the waiver. The highest bid gets the player. If no bid or bid is the same, it will be based on the old waiver priority continuing list.

Small changes, but should be fun!

I'll try my hardest to make it as well even if my ultimate team isn't all that pleased, but I don't think I'm the only one with concerns about the 29th.
