My dad bought me my first CD player for my birthday back in 91. The first cd I ever bought for it was Ten. I even own a rare copy of 5 against 1, because I bought the cd the day it was released (you had to actually go to the store back then). The cd was renamed VS shortly after that.

My younger cousin who was born in '95, is a guitar player and he and I were recently talking about music. He said he loves classic rock like Pearl Jam... I suddenly realized I'm old.

Hoping they add a show either at Fenway, Yankee/Citi or Citizens Bank. A buddy of mine talked to Matt Cameron a week ago, he said their new album is relatively close to being done.

It says in the release that these are the only dates and more dates will be coming for the fall in the the US.

Also, both Ed and Stone have said in the past few weeks in interviews that they only have 4-5 songs done on the new record.

Then people might confuse it with PJ Harvey, and you don't want that

Hmm... odd that they've chosen London as a second location. I mean, Wrigley Field and then the smallish/Junior Hockey-centric Budweiser Gardens in London?

Might have to make the trek. Been a few years since my last PJ concert.

Time to hit up second-hand sellers, Pearl Jam fans.

The band's concert at Wrigley Field sold out faster than any other concert in the venue's history on Saturday, according to Cubs spokesman Julian Green. Last Wednesday's neighbor pre-sale tickets ran out in 45 minutes.

On Monday morning, StubHub showed tickets from $250 to $1100, and Craigslist advertised for tickets up to $400. Originally, tickets cost $52-$77.

I don't know anyone that was able to get tickets via tickets.com. Their website is horrible for popular events that sell out quickly. I have never had a problem with ticketmaster when going to events that sell out quickly. I'll gladly pay the extra fees that goes with ticketmaster than deal with tickets.com.

My older brother's best friend is probably the biggest Pearl Jam fan I've ever met, I'll ask him how many times he's seen them live.

Pearl Jam hope to have their next album out "this year, for sure," guitarist Mike McCready tells Rolling Stone.

"I would say as a clichť answer it's kind of a logical extension of what Backspacer was," he says. "But I think there's a little bit more experimental stuff going on. There's a Pink Floyd vibe to some of it, there's a punk rock edge to other stuff."

Just asked my older brother's best friend, he's seen Pearl Jam live 15 times since the early 90's. He's going to the show in London, Ontario in July.

"Oceans" is great. Although my all-time Pearl Jam favorite is "Last kiss". Great band.

Their last album was poor, nothing before that was.

I look forward to the release of tour dates and the omission of [INSERT CEREMONY'S CITY HERE]
