Pavalski to the Sabres

SJS: Ennis or Stafford +

BUF: Pavelski

What needs to be added?

A reason for San Jose to trade Pavelski.

Umm, a spellchecker function...?

Seriously, though, I'm a big fan of Pavelski's but Ennis + Stafford is overpaying IMO. Something from San Jose would have to be added to balance the scales.

If it's Ennis and Stafford .. it's too much ..... If it's one or the other ... Buffalo needs to add.

Pavelski isn't going anywhere, we don't need to trade him!

if you're a Sabres fan that wants to trade for him, can't you take 10 seconds to google his name so you spell it right?

Wrong way to think:

This player will address our needs, so I need to find an equal value trade with the team that has him

Right way to think:

This player will address our needs, do I have anything expendable that will address the other team's needs?

I think he was on the right track ... ... Sharks are strong in Defense and Center ..... not that they're weak on Wing ..but.. if any position would be addressed i would think it would be that..

Having said all that... I don't think the Sharks really need to make any moves .. I think they're set for now.

Looking strong.

Most of our centers can play wing, so a 1 for 1 wouldn't benefit.

A deal for Pavelski will involve a top-6 AND top-9 winger.

How about

Pavelski
2nd

for

Stafford
Hecht
1st

Buffalo may feel they're giving up too much though

I agree. It would take more than just Stafford or Ennis. I just think both Staff and Ennis would be too much from Buffalos perspective.

I'd do Staff and Boyes ... or Pomminville and Boyes.

I think he means pick #55, which would be a low second rounder.

If it is, Stafford-Ennis-Boyes package would be very tempting.

There is pretty much no way to move Pavelski without making the Sharks worse this season. This season is all that matters to us right now, so pass. Much as I would love Tyler Ennis on the Sharks.

Maybe if we weren't in a Win now mindstate, then DW might consider it. That said. Pass.

San Jose doesn't even consider moving Pavelski.

It's a pointless proposal.

I'm surprised this thread wasn't more of a mess.

When you misspell the the name of the player on the other team, you're digging a thread grave...

I dunno, but I'll trade you Lundkwist for him.

But seriously that's the end of the joke. Back you your regularly scheduled trade thread

Ennis for Thornton would be tempting... Doesn't mean it would happen.
