Earthquake in the Philly area?
Sitting in my office in Blue Bell and my building just shook for about 10 seconds. Did anyone else experience this?
Edit: There was an earthquake in Virginia that registered a 5.8. The effects were felt up to this area.

I am out in Pottstown, and I felt an odd vibration for about 5+ seconds...

Yup. Up and down the east coast. Shook for maybe 4-5 seconds. Originated from Virginia.

Never experienced one up until today.
That was definitely odd and I'm in no rush to experience another one any time soon.

It was Ovechkin lobbing the pigskin. Always wanted to experience an earthquake, what's it like?

First earthquake for me. My puppy knew something was wrong like 10 seconds before it happened. She started to go crazy.

My dog was useless in warning, but it was extremely odd, probably registering sub 1.0 in my area, so nothing real big...

I was in the shower when it happened i thought a pipe was going to burst at first. Then i got out and felt shaking. That was creepy but pretty sweet.

My dogs did nothing, not even during the earthquake.
That was pretty cool though

Kinda threw me for a loop. I felt some shaking an immediately thought some ********* drove by slowly with his bass way up.

Wild. Building across from me in Old City was shaking too. Now I can say I survived an earthquake.

That was really weird. At first I thought it was just my couch was about to break but then I got up and still felt it.

I don't think that was the shakeup they were talking about in Washington.

This has me swamped at work, but here's a quick update: It was located in Mineral, VA. Magnitude between 5.8 and 6. It was felt as far north as NH, as far south as Georgia, and in Detroit.
