Honestly, this is a fight where I have no problem if they score a draw, what a great showing by Rockhold.

I was not expecting that fight to be this close.

so very close.

Rockhold managed to counter that takedown with some great standup and sustained effort, Souza finished strong as well though. That round's a toss-up.

I think Rockhold might steal it to be honest, but I would bet it's a split decision regardless of who wins.

1 for Jacare
2 even
3 for Rockhold
4 even
5 Rockhold

49-48 Rockhold.

But knowing that 10-10s are stupid rare I have no idea what the scores are gonna be. Likely heavier in Rockhold's favor.

I hadn't even thought of a draw, but I would not be shocked by a draw decision.

50-45? Was that judge sleeping? Still, glad Rockhold won, there's some good potential there.

UNANIMOUS DECISION FOR ROCKHOLD!

Wow, shocking, I thought that was a lot closer than that.

Souza didn't deserve to retain his belt though, despite the close fight.

It was closer, but judges don't know how to use the scoring system.

Pretty good fight. Impressed by Rockhold. He's good but still raw so there's a lot of room for improvement there, which will make him a guy to watch. Love to see his emotion after the fight too. Also impressed with his endurance for a guy that had been out of the cage for 19 months due to injuries and never been out of the 1st round in a fight either.

yeah, the fight being so close was surprising, but the scorecard of 50-45 was moreso. Apparently Miletich was scoring that fight AND commentating.
