If it was Turris then maybe as he has 70-80+ upside, but with Boedker even if he "explodes" it'll only be like a bad case of Diarrhea...nothing to look forward to. Definitely rather have Hossa on CHI top 6 and one of the best PP in the league alongside Toews-Kane-Sharp. Brunette coming to the mix likely makes CHI top 6 Kane-Toews-Brunette and Hossa-Bolland-Sharp or Hossa-Sharp-Frolik depending if Sharp plays W or C this season. Regardless Hossa is the much better option, Boedker or no Boedker
Depending on how deep your league is, I`d stall on Boedker and try to pick up a prospect or late pick. Boedker has a lot of value to some people; I think you should be able to get something worthwhile out of it.
I'd have to now give up Doan, Boedker, Sheahan, 2012 first...for Hossa, Niskanen/A.Greene/Methot, and Handzus/Belanger/Holmstrom.
Too much at this point? Granted, the futures are slightly worthless to me, since I've got a competitive team, but I'm not sure. If so, which guys do you take out of the d-man group and lower forward group?
Hossa is still the best guy in the deal, but i'd shop your package around and see if you can get someone with a bit more youth than Hossa...maybe like a Chris Stewart, Benn, E.Kane, JVR or someone along these lines for that price tag.
