Also has anyone else been having an issue with the demo where you go into HUT and instantly lose connection to EA. It's only happening to me once and then when i go back to HUT it doesn't happen again unless i reset the game. I know its only the demo and it doesn't matter but its annoying as hell.
Yes, I got that... I am sure it's just a demo thing. Madden 13 is even more annoying when they can't find your online pass info and you need to re-DL it every 4 times you start up the game. Agreements as well.

Hey guys, yeah this is my first post and yes I joined just to post to you PS3 users. Wanted to let you know that if you guys dont put together a GM Connected league, I have one going with all Sharks fans. We have 15 franchises that still need a GM, you can see my fanpost at Fear The Fin to get an idea.
If your interested send a message at PSN Sharkblood99 or join us at
sharkfanonps3.freeforums.net and use your PSN ID as your user name when you register.

Also, dont want to come off like a ***** posting on your turf, but played your EASHL club a couple times this past year with some clubs I was on and you guys smoked us, lol! Are you guys down for a EASHL monthly team challenge?

Cheers
Josh

Looks like I'll be getting the EA Season Ticket again this year.

Anyone else going for that EA money grab?

If there is, I'll probably be online Saturday to officially start NHL 13.

Money grab is right!
I was going to get the cup edition but went with the regular one and season ticket... I have justified my impatience

I tried finding the GM Connected League thread that I joined but I am having no such luck. I'm guessing it was deleted. So if we have a GM Connected League I'll be interested. Otherwise I'll either join sharkblood's league or another one that's posted on HF.

I am considering of buying EA's Season Ticket. I probably will get FIFA 13 that comes out at the end of this month as well so why not. A whole weekend of NHL 13 wouldn't hurt. Take my money EA, take it!

Edit: Oh and I'm sure the club wouldn't mind a EASHL monthly challenge. Depends on the time though.

I'll never buy a game 2 days early for 25 bucks more, especially for yearly games that become outdated like NHL. Maybe if it was a month instead of two days. I haven't played for a few weeks already. I can wait two days.

Do it, we'll OTP together this weekend!

I'm getting FIFA 13 too, so it'll be worth it I think.

There's actually an option for same day digital download of the full game on release day this year too. I might do that just to avoid having to wait in line at Best Buy/Future Shop.

I plan on playing HUT more often too. So you would get 24 gold premium packs each for NHL and FIFA. So 48 packs in total. The more I read about season ticket, the more I am tempted to buy it.

Yeah, it's not bad. And FIFA has DLC which you get discounts on which NHL does not.

I already pre-ordered the stanley cup edition which gives me 16 gold packs in 16 weeks, so if I get the preseason pass I get 24 more?

Damn thats a lot of money though.

I am so excited for this that I am selling off my original backwards compatible fatty PS3 for a new one, because I don't think it will be able to handle how much I will be playing NHL 13 =P

I am going to start with HUT I think, however, I will look into EASHL while I build up my post count on the forum to play with you all sometime!

Awesome! Yeah we will get the time figured out, the main thing is finding out if you guys are open to it.

Yeah, from what I understand you will get 24 more but you have to make sure you get them cuz they expire everyweek. Where did you preorder from? Gamestop? You are gonna have alot of cards because the cup edition comes with that Gretzky pack and Conference packs too.. nice!

Here's what I've found out so far:

All player builds start at 65 for all attributes.

TWD puck control is maxed at 78.

Nobody uses TWD anyway.

TWF is what I want to know.

I used TWD last year to counter the DFD's godawful offensive skills (puck control & passing)

Oh, I thought you used DFD. My bad.

Seems like most people either go with OFD for the mobility or DFD for the crazy high defensive stats. TWD is like a gimped version that takes a little from both but not enough to be better.

I used DFD at first, but I got sick of handling the puck like a live grenade. I tried OFD too, but wasn't able to defend well enough for my liking. TWD might not max out as well as either other type, but it was offensive enough for me to chip in whatever meager little bit I could (and it's not like I was all that much better at it as OFD) while still having enough defensive skills to feel like I could do something.
