I am down for GM connected and would be willing to commish it since i am on alot, the only thing is i will be leaving next tuesday to go to alaska for a week and a half so if im gonna commish it we would have to wait til i get back. Also has anyone else been having an issue with the demo where you go into HUT and instantly lose connection to EA. It's only happening to me once and then when i go back to HUT it doesn't happen again unless i reset the game. I know its only the demo and it doesn't matter but its annoying as hell.
Yes, I got that... I am sure it's just a demo thing. Madden 13 is even more annoying when they can't find your online pass info and you need to re-DL it every 4 times you start up the game. Agreements as well.

I tried finding the GM Connected League thread that I joined but I am having no such luck. I'm guessing it was deleted. So if we have a GM Connected League I'll be interested. Otherwise I'll either join sharkblood's league or another one that's posted on HF.
I am considering of buying EA's Season Ticket. I probably will get FIFA 13 that comes out at the end of this month as well so why not. A whole weekend of NHL 13 wouldn't hurt. Take my money EA, take it!
Edit: Oh and I'm sure the club wouldn't mind a EASHL monthly challenge. Depends on the time though.
I'll never buy a game 2 days early for 25 bucks more, especially for yearly games that become outdated like NHL. Maybe if it was a month instead of two days. I haven't played for a few weeks already. I can wait two days.

There's actually an option for same day digital download of the full game on release day this year too. I might do that just to avoid having to wait in line at Best Buy/Future Shop.
I plan on playing HUT more often too. So you would get 24 gold premium packs each for NHL and FIFA. So 48 packs in total. The more I read about season ticket, the more I am tempted to buy it.
I am so excited for this that I am selling off my original backwards compatible fatty PS3 for a new one, because I don't think it will be able to handle how much I will be playing NHL 13 =P

Yeah, from what I understand you will get 24 more but you have to make sure you get them cuz they expire everyweek. Where did you preorder from? Gamestop? You are gonna have alot of cards because the cup edition comes with that Gretzky pack and Conference packs too.. nice!

I used TWD last year to counter the DFD's godawful offensive skills (puck control & passing)

Seems like most people either go with OFD for the mobility or DFD for the crazy high defensive stats. TWD is like a gimped version that takes a little from both but not enough to be better.

I used DFD at first, but I got sick of handling the puck like a live grenade. I tried OFD too, but wasn't able to defend well enough for my liking. TWD might not max out as well as either other type, but it was offensive enough for me to chip in whatever meager little bit I could (and it's not like I was all that much better at it as OFD) while still having enough defensive skills to feel like I could do something.
