Eden Hazard!!!! AMAZING !

Oh and Joe Cole made a great start, coming in late and making a great play for an assist. Kudos to him, he shows he still has some things to offer.

Just saw the goals.

A. Cole didn't make a single play like that all last season.

B. Hazard's run on his first goal was ridiculous.

C. Hopefully Cole tells Hazard he should join Liverpool.

Yeah, he'll have all the reasons to do that

I'm hoping Chelsea have a go at him. Mata and Hazard on the wings with Sturridge, Lukaku or Torres upfront? Let's do it!!

What I find amazing is that the only knock against Hazard has been his lack of stats, especially finishing, more so because he always tried to pass rather than shoot.
Well, he has 2 goals, 1 penalty created and 1 assist (as well as "secondary assist") in the 4 games his team scored at least a goal.

Pedretti!!

Assist by Hazard. He's linking up pretty well with Cole too.

Hazard isn't in full form right now. It's scary that every goal scored by Lille seems to have his mark on it (goal, assist, or beginning of the play).
Once he hits his peak form... ouch...

And.... he scores....
though to be fair, that was never a penalty (was maybe one a few minutes before however).

Yeah Boudebouz and Martin are really 80% of that good Sochaux team.

heres to hoping SAF sells Carrick and goes after Marvin Martin but I unfortunately doubt it and he´ll probably end up in Arsenal think he would be a perfect fit in United.

I know L1 is all about Eden Hazard but I heard this Pastore guy was pretty good too...

Ended up 6-2 but could have been much worse.
This Sochaux team sometimes looks horrible on defense.

At half time it was 2-2 and Sochaux had two chances, two shots, two shots on targets, two goals. Efficiency sure, but they were playing at home and Rennes was completely dominating (10 first half chances !).

My theory with regards to Cole is that he's finally fit, he also must be laying off the cigarettes. And if that's the case, he'll be brought back and kept next season. There's really no explanation in his differences in play, just a few months ago he was horrible even against Manchester United's reserves.

Have you seen his goal? That was a wicked shot.
From his interviews, he really seems happy in Lille and loves the spirit in the lockerroom. He's insisted on that many times, as well as the quality of the players, especially Hazard of course.

Anyway, Hazard and Pastore are lightning L1 on fire so far. They're both amazing talents and are taking their team on their back.
So far however, Lille has been shaky defensively, and Sow and co can't finish Hazard passes.
PSG OTOH, have built a great offense, but are lacking most of their Dmen (Sakho is out, Jallet was injured, comes back but gets sent off, Armand is only coming back this week). Once everyone's healthy, I can't see anyone stopping them except maybe Lyon who has found a new happiness with Garde as head coach.

BTW, the mano a mano :
Hazard : 4 goals, 3 assists in 715 minutes.
Pastore : 4 goals, 2 assists in 476 minutes.

Other notables :
Bastos : 2 goals, 3 assists in 642 minutes.
Menez : 1 goal, 3 assists in 668 minutes.
Tabanou : 2 goals, 2 assists in 707 minutes (50% of his team's goals).
Valbuena : 2 goals, 5 assists in 538 minutes.
Boudebouz : 3 goals, 3 assists in 616 minutes.
Nene : 2 goals, 2 assists in 584 minutes.

Gomis has 6 goals, A. Traore and Gameiro have 5 each.

Yep, that's the Joe Cole I was used to before he came to Liverpool, and what he's capable of...last season was just so disappointing. I'm glad he's turning it around.

Good lord. I just watched the goal and assist. That player never wore Liverpool red. Hopefully he can find his game and comes back as THAT player.
