David Legwand is overpaid and was a waste of a draft pick.
Oh ****... sorry... wrong board...
But seriously, Legwand is so underappreciated by the fan base it isn't even funny. The following is a true story: I had a dream in which I was being held hostage along with 20 or so other people. David Legwand, for whatever reason, was one of those people. He snuck off, found a weapon, killed the hostage takers, and allowed everyone to escape. Legwand was given absolutely NO credit. I know no one cares about anyone else's dreams, but I thought that was funny once I woke up.
Geez! Hockey needs to start and fast I want to hear news of the preseason games and now were posting dreams ....
So, in other news, I read that David Legwand and the Nashville Predators organization has applied for a restraining order against a so-called "ThirdManIn"...
Ok so I have two responses to this. One is relatively serious, and the other obviously isn't.
1. If we could all control our dreams I think we know what we would be dreaming about, and as much as I love Leggy he surely isn't that thing.
2. They can apply for a restraining order, but good luck forcing me to obey it

We can't take him anywhere.
You CAN take me plenty of places. You choose NOT to because of my inability to participate in society without... you know... being "weird"
Pardon my ignorance but what's the difference between NHL GameCenter and CenterIce?
Center Ice is the cable/satellite TV subscription available through your local provider. GameCenter is an internet streaming video subscription available through NHL.com

Aren't all Preds fans "weird", I mean, I don't know if I've met one who isn't just a little quirky.
I don't think you are an interesting person unless you are weird. Note: I don't think that all weird people are interesting.
And yes, I think we can all be defined as weird. We are avid hockey fans below the Mason-Dixon line. That, in and of itself, is strange. Personal quirks simply add to it
In addition to having great season ticket sales, they had their best turnout for the start of individual ticket sales on Saturday. Let's hope this momentum keeps building for some time!

In anticipation of the upcoming 2011-12 season, the Nashville Predators enjoyed their most successful ticket on-sale event in franchise history this past Saturday. More than 800 people lined up at the Bridgestone Arena box office on Saturday morning to secure individual game tickets for the first half of the 2011-12 season. Predators’ fans that waited in line were rewarded with a special box-office-only $10 ticket offer during a 9 a.m. early-bird special, with $10 tickets selling out for more than half of the games offered. The line continued to grow when individual tickets were made available to the general public at 10 a.m. (photo attached). Total tickets sold on opening weekend approached 7,500 for the first half of the 2011-12 season, compared to a 1,500 ticket opening weekend in 2010-11.

"Mike Fisher is making progress. He keeps getting more range of motion and strength in his surgically repaired shoulder each day. But on Friday, Fisher said he didn’t believe he would be ready for the Predators’ Oct. 7 season-opener at Columbus. We’ll see how it comes in the next few weeks,” Fisher said. “The start of the season is probably not possible, but who knows, you never know......”
Not news neccessarily, but first time I've heard Fisher himself say he's doubtful about playing the beginning of the season.
