Who will become a starting goalie first?

Who will become a bonafide NHL starting goalie first?

Bobrovsky
Lindback
Enroth
Campbell

or other.

Where do you think Bobrovsky will be a starter?

I think Lindback has the best chance of becoming a starter the soonest because he's on a team with a goalie that will likely become a UFA because the team has a history of letting their goalies go once they become UFA age and want too much money.

Who is this Campbell guy?

Who is this Campbell guy?
Jack Campbell, Dallas 1st round pick from 2010.

And he's definitely at the bottom, Lehtonen is boss for Dallas.

I think it goes:

Enroth
Lindback
Bobrovsky
Campbell

I knew a very small handful of (dumb) Sabres fans last season who began to prefer Enroth over Miller

Love Jack Campbell though, dude's gonna be a boss in the NHL for a long time.

Campbell probably won't get a shot at the start role for at least 3 years, probably more.

When Bobrovsky gets traded he will be a starter. I can see him going to Chicago or Phoenix.

I think a more interesting debate is who will be better.

I think it'll be something like this

Enroth
Lindback
Campbell
Bobrovsky

Except I know nothing about this Campbell kid, I have just seen Enroth and Lindback prove they have what it takes to start at the NHL level and dominate.

I put Bob at the bottom because he's in Philly and Philly isn't known for developing goalies properly.

All four are stuck behind much better goalies, so unless they get traded it's hard to say any will. (barring injuries of course).

Even if they do get traded, well there is only 30 starting jobs and alot of those are already filled.

After Rinne leaves Nashville for a team that won't lowball the **** out of him Lindback will be starter. And another star goalie will replace Lindback after he leaves. And the cycle will continue until Nashville gets competent ownership.

Why should Nashville pay big bucks to keep Rinne when they can pay Lindback millions less and get almost the same quality?

The guy is a top 3 goalie in the NHL. Lindback has played a handful of games.

Nasvhille will probably tell Rinne he's worth 4M
