I rarely view Stewart or Colbert, I may be wrong but my perception of them leans heavily toward politics’, Stewart has caught my eye a few times. I’m biased I guess, I’m a big Fallon fan.

You're right, of course, Robert, their humor is heavily weighted toward the political scene. It's true, though, that there is a great tradition in America of humor based on politics, from Twain to Will Rogers to Pat Paulson to Stewart and Colbert.

Twain and Rogers where truly great satirists, perhaps the best, I get most of my political humor from Fox News…

Well Stewart. I'm pretty sure Robert is funnier than Colbert.

I think the funniest is that when I was a kid, Jon Stewart was just some ********* on MTV

I am a big fan now... but it is funny to see old clips of him from back then... it's like a different person

Hi all

Just thought posting here too. Well, a long story short, there was a mass layoff in the company I worked for. I got the boot and am unemployed right now, but still being paid until next August. So, what to do with all this free time? A hockey road trip, what else

Unfortunately, I can't make it all the way to Columbus. But since some of you I know are located elsewhere, anyone want to grab a beer in Feb/Mar game in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, St. Paul, Denver (1st Mar vs CBJ), San Jose or Anaheim?

I will be in Canada from Feb 14th-28th and then until May 15th in US, more or less in the west coast. Whee

Too bad you can't make it to Cbus, Handyy, but sounds like you'll manage to find fun! Have a great trip and good luck with the next step in your career.

Don't give up the mustang!
And don't Worry about not coming to Cbus. We don't have an NHL team there this year.

Yeah, it was a sad fall for Columbus... Felt really bad for you every time I watched a game or looked the results...

Have fun on your Vacay!

Can't blame the guy for wanting to get out of there every once in a while.

I have lived in many environments, the southern beaches are the best but there is something to be said for that warm evening at home in front of the fireplace when a foot of snow is falling and nowhere to go..

You realize this completely blows your "retired working-man hockey-guy" cover?
...or does your wife make you go?

Not right now.

I had the lemon brulee last night. Was the best dessert I've ever had. (not a big chocolate fan myself)

Is this one of those places where I make the waiter read off the entire wine list before ordering a Budweiser, anyway?
