Hands down DirecTV.

Interface and, more importantly, service is far better. Plus Dish tried to fee me to death. They also wouldn't supply me with a second HD DVR as part of the installation (this was 3 years ago maybe).

The thing that made me drop Dish, I called them and ended up with support in Spain and the person wasn't remotely fluent in English. I finally got ahold of a manager and they agreed to charge me less for the NHL package (as I was like a week or two away from being halfway through the season, some teams were already at game 42/43) and they still ended up charging me for the full season.

I wouldn't recommend Dish to my worst enemy.

Anyone else see this:
http://kstp.com/news/stories/S2477200.shtml?cat=1
Quote:
Apple Valley Police say he was under the influence and driving a Zamboni Monday night.

Thirty-four-year-old Joel Bruss was arrested, but has not yet been charged. A police report says parents called authorities after they saw Bruss driving the Zamboni erratically while cleaning the ice at Hayes Arena in Apple Valley.

When police arrived they say they saw Bruss struggling to get the Zamboni off the ice and his breath smelled like alcohol.

5 EYEWITNESS News contacted the Apple Valley Parks and Recreation director but he declined to comment on the situation. We also checked and found Bruss has three prior DWI convictions, according to state records. He was twice convicted in 1999 and once in 2002.

Bruss has been suspended indefinitely from his part-time job with the city, where he's worked with the Parks and Recreation Department for 15 years.
Zamboni driver was drunk, kept running into the boards. Article says he has two prior convictions for DWI, but fails to mention if he was driving just a car at the time. lol

Hi!

Did I miss anything? Other than that which I tried to deliberately miss, that is?

Ryan Suter publicly said he doesn't think much of Scott Howson.

I love Super Bowl commercials.

They help me determine which companies have enough money to waste on 30 seconds of airtime plus the production costs associated with creating a commercial for a special event, and therefore don't need any more of my money.

I think you got Howson mixed up with Poile there. It's okay; I do that all the time.

There was a protest that apparently, got us an all-star game.

Nah, we were going to get an ASG at some point but the protest could have sped up it's announcement..

Click "User CP" in the upper left corner. On the left rail is "settings and options" click "Edit ignore list."

Of course, if I'M the poster you're ignoring, this does you no good.

Since no one else has responded, click "User CP" in the upper left corner. On the left rail is "settings and options." Click "Edit ignore list."

I'd keep this going, but I know how much you fear you're on everyone's ignore list.

Also, if I believed in using an ignore list, which I don't, Kallio would be one of the last people I'd put on it.

And FCH has big boobs. So.

Check out these GDT's that are being discussed on the mains - they are amazing. The bar set by them is ridiculously high.
