Dear holy ****ing G-d in Heaven if I see one more "lol cbj" comment over you-know-which-Isles-trade I will destroy the world.

ONE MORE. That's all I need. Just one.

Per a discussion yesterday afternoon, I have now confirmed that, much like a goodly portion of the NHL, I'll be testing the free agency waters starting July 1.

(That discussion being that they want someone who's more of a marketing specialist. I do communications and IT... well, now just IT. 8 hours a week, with COBRA fully paid for (which is nice), but still. )

It collapsed a wall in the mall I work at. So I'm definitely going to agree. Hell of a storm.

GAHANNA, Ohio – At this time, approximately 500,000 customer throughout the AEP Ohio service territory are without power with approximately 300,000 located in Central Ohio. Restoration efforts are ongoing right now and we expect they will continue up to 5 to 7 days.

Not our area, obviously, and also a higher population, but just saw that 1 mil out of power in the DC area due to the same storms.

Lucky to have power out here today.

Was setting up a new clinic in an office building on Kenny Road and got to watch it come in. One minute it was in the distance, the next, it was pitch black. Interesting to watch that kind of storm while on the 7th floor. We saw a couple of transformers blow, as well as a pole come down. It was pretty intense.

The two trucks that caught fire on Kinnear were easily visible....other IT guy comes to me and says, 'isn't the server room over in that direction??' This helped supply lolz for the 7th 12 hour day in a row..

The fun part was going down after it was all over and remembering I left my windows cracked and sunroof vent open for the heat...luckily, nothing in the car was wet...weird.

I was at work. The power flickered and then went off. Suddenly a little down the hall (100 ft?) there was a crash, and then everyone started running followed by a dust cloud. At first I just saw one or two people running and didn't know what was going on. Then I saw the others, said "Oh ****!"grabbed my bag and ran like hell. Thought we were getting hit by a tornado.

The only thing that happened here in Hilliard was lights flickering that's about it. Seriously thought a tornado was going to touch down.

Apparently we're going to have round 2 of this tomorrow, around the same time.

I'm disappointed that the first thought wasn't "zombie attack"--especially at a mall.

I hope everyone is okay up there. Sounds like you got it worse than we did down here in Tampa with Debby's winds and rain. Yours was much more sudden and not as plannable.
