OT - Quebec Remparts (Grigorenko) vs Ottawa 67's (Prince?/Ceci) - Monday Sept 5, 2pm

Just wondering if anyone's planning on going to this Exhibition game on Monday, I for one am STARVED for anything hockey so I'm going to try my best to make it out to this.

Whether Shane Prince is playing yet or not I'm not quite sure, but the Sens rookie camp doesn't start till later that week so I think if he was going to play any preseason game, it would be this one.

The main highlight though is getting a early look at potential 2012 1st-5th overall Mikhail Grigorenko who plays for Quebec and from what I've read is having a strong preseason so far. I'm sure Cody Ceci (potential 1st rounder) will be playing as well, should be a good way to spend the afternoon.

So anyone going?

Definitely. Any excuse to go and boo Patrick Roy is a good one. Plus, I like me some good junior hockey.

I'm going to be out of town for the Remparts/67's game, but if your STARVED for hockey, might I suggest getting tickets for the Piques home opener? Friday the 9th against Val-d'Or! Trust me, 67's games will never be the same afterwards

hehe...Hands down the atmosphere in the Olympique's stadium is way better than the 67's, I went to a bunch last year including the final. I don't think I'll be able to make the opener but I'll be going to a bunch this year for sure.

If you're not going out of town or anything, we play Rouyn-Noranda the next night!

I'm always pleased when I encounter people who appreciate the raw awesomeness of The Bob

I'm definately there, this might be the only chance to see our next first round pick Grigorenko...

I had Theodore and a few other Piques in my class when I was attending Cegep. Cool dude, all the girls were after him.

OT: Did you know the girl (Valérie Leblanc) that got murdered last week? Horrible story.

Did they manage to renovate Guertin Arena this summer, or is that still in development?

Damn, I wish I could make it to this game to see Grigorenko but I can't pass up my time and a half shift.

On a related note, I saw Tyler Toffoli out the other night.

No I didn't knew her. From what I've heard she was pretty reserved. But yeah, that's horrible. I don't understand how in hell could someone do a thing like that. I hope the murderer get caught and then get beat in jail. Karma is a ***** sometime.

Hopefully thats a good sign that the top line will be intact for this game, I'd imagine they all head to there NHL camps after this.

Gonna do my best to see boyhood hero Patrick Roy! Don't know if I'll be able to contain myself if I'm seated anywhere in his vicinity.

That's up to Edmonton. My guess is he ends up in Oklahoma City rather than here as an overager.

I've read several different articles that suggest he will go back to the 67s because they want to see him play with more passion and intensity, heart and drive have always been a giant thing with Martindale, so it wouldn't shock me at all to see him back.

He scored both. First one was a great shot under the bar.

He looks a lot like Yashin. That's not a knock on him, Yashin was a beast for a long time before his other well-documented issues got him a ticket out of the league.

Game was a complete gong show, but that's what we've all come to expect whenever Patty's in town. The gong show just seems to follow him around.
