The local news here in NY had a very short segment on it (a minute at most), but that's all I've heard so far.
Or were you just talking about sports networks?

Man, this sucks.
Yeah the Tkachuk-Demitra-Mellanby line was beastly for those early 00s Blues teams, one of my all-time favs.
God this sucks.

If I was playing in the KHL, I would be scared ****less to fly again over there.
BTW, this was the only way Skrastins was going to miss a hockey game. That guy was durable as ****.

Terrible. My condolences to all the families of those affected.
Well I just found some more motivation to finish my degree in Aero engineering. To hopefully help prevent things like this from happening again.

God this sucks.
It was. he also helped turn Scott Young into a 40 goal-scorer. before Demitra, he was just a inconsistant floater.

Empty feeling in my gut today, so many guys who bled for our amusement, and who would have. Respect to their memories.

yeah that was pretty much the saddest thing I read all day. One of those what if scenarios, you know?
anyway, when in a depressed funk, turn to the smiths.

Sharks GM Doug Wilson statement.
(To reiterate: The Sharks did not want to release a statement until they had confirmation he was on the flight/dead, to avoid misinformation. Nothing else delayed the statement.)

This is too tough to wrap my head around.
Many names we used to see just this past season in NHL.
Wish the two survivors well.
What they must feel right now, can't imagine.
RIP everyone.... thank you for the memories....

I don't believe Galimov has passed... Please quote your source or refrain from posting more misinformation.
