Guys, this has to be the most touching thing I have ever seen. I am at work and find myself tearing up. Amazing

Watch at your own risk, because no matter how jaded you might think you are, this might make you lose it.

perhaps the most moving tribute i have ever seen.

i find myself thinking less about my problems lately. they seem so small.

update on galimov

dchesnokov Dmitry Chesnokov
Galimov's condition has not improved. He will need a trachea transplant; still in a medically induced coma.

also read yesterday that the doctors said that days 3 & 4 (today and tomorrow) are typically the most critical for a burn victim

thats because this is when they usually start the skin graphs, etc.

Stay strong Galimov, you will be in my thoughts and prayers

oh god, i am now watching the full ceremony....bad idea...freaking losing it...

The hockey community really is what makes this sport great

The fact that a whole city in a different country pulled together for his event, and not a single ticket was returned speaks tons for the quality of their character.

Wow,terrible News. It must be very hard for Artem Anisimov. It was his youth team. Played there just 4 years ago. Must have known at least 4-5 of them who where natives from Jaroslav.

On the 2006/07 team where Arty was, at least Yevgeni Artyukhin, Vitali Anikeyenko, Andrei Kiryukhin , Ivan Tkachenko and Alexander Vasyunov. 4of them born in 87 and 88 and at AA`s age. And the 3 latter, born in Jaroslav like AA

Also wanted to add this video from Trenčin, Slovakia. This is Marian Gaborik's hometown and a memorial was had for Pavol Demitra there:

http://tvnoviny.sk/sekcia/spravy/dom...-trencine.html

Wish the best to Galimov. Obviously the concern is not about him playing hockey but his life. It is not an easy road ahead, but he is too young to give in and die. Keep fighting. Same for the flight engineer Sizov.

I can't believe after all that he didn't make it. The guy really deserved to live after the hell he went through. Basically walking out of a plane while almost being on fire, survivng for days after and speaking to his loved ones. Thats what you call a warrior. I didn't even know him personally but this is really depressing and the whole outcome just sucks even more.

On the small light note thats left, It looks like Sizov is actually in pretty good shape risk-wise....Unfortunately the lone survivor now.

Was pleased to see we did one too, would have been incredibly annoyed if we hadn't.

Sad to hear about Galimov, sleep well kid.
