It's still hard to believe that all of those young, healthy people are just dead.

Just saw the Galimov news. Sucks. RIP.

Glad to read that Sizov will likely recover fully

With a 15% of his body burned, he has always had a much better chance to make it. By far.

Great news although none of us can really understand what it`s like to live your life knowing you`re the only one who survived a plane crash. Must be a terrible mental suffering.

Lamoriello said again the team will do something to honor Vasyunov and the other victims either before a preseason game or before the regular season opener (when Prudential Center will be full).

‘We’re right now in the process of deciding,” he said. “We’ll definitely do something whether it’s the exhibition game or the first game (of the regular season) In fact, it’s a question throughout the whole National Hockey League because every team has been touched by everything. There’s nothing that’s been decided, yet.”

Vasyunov played only 18 games for the Devils and it sounds like wearing a patch or something on the uniform is not something they’re considering right now, but Lamoriello didn’t rule it out.

“As far as a tribute, there will be something done,” Lamoriello said. “I haven’t ruled out anything.”

I hope they do something that would be a fitting tribute for them, even better if it is a game I can attend.

Yep. There will be more people there, and it will be more visible.

I cried like a small boy. Completely lost it. Demitra has always been my favorite Slovak player. Just can`t believe he`s gone.

Last goodbye Demo, we`ll miss you.

RIP

(disclaimer: Satan with a grin face is because Gaby was saying a funny story of how bad Demitra was with technical devices, internet and computers. heh)

Must be so tough for the people that were that close to him. Next to family, teammates probably knew him the best and were around him the most.

Can't think of anything worse than losing a best friend.
