they must be afraid to throw to stamps OR stamps is still not in the groove, because one catch for him is horrific.

Messam's still getting some good gains but the whole group appears to be underperforming.
Yeah, like I said earlier the offence seems obsessed with connecting for the big play on every down. It makes you yearn for the dink-n-dump days when they were actually moving the ball.

FINALLY getting stamps really, truly involved. It's about 2 quarters too late but I really hope they can still make something happen.

Just got blown up again on the Burris run.

I don't think lineman than get demolished 3-4 times a game and get completely sealed off on 90% of run plays are good.

Dude holds the record for rushing yards by a QB in a game with 180... so there's that.

I'd almost rather the go-for-it attitude. I think I nearly killed people while watching the dink-n-dump bollocks.

Well we have a lot of tall talented receivers + stamps who is the best in the league. Can't go wrong going long.

FINALLY! a touchdown. There's still hope, but it's fleeting.

I'm fine with going long but it's not working when it's all you do within the 35-yard-line. It becomes way too easy to defend against and with our kickers being so unpredictable it's causing a lot of headaches.

CRITICAL series for the defence. They need a 2-and-out if possible.

Just think, without the fluke play we would be tied.

Sigh. The Stamps have played pretty mediocre football in this game but the Esks' effort has been pretty deflating.

yeah, one major brainfart's going to cost us this game unless ray can catch that magic again with stamps on this next series...also, Burris not scoring would help.

we're all dogpiling on the Esks but the stamps haven't exactly been worthy of a win either.

They're just getting the breaks.

1st down. erg. The stamps are chewing up that clock.

That tip with 0:01 left in the 1st half really stings now.

Pretty academic now.

The Esks are in second place and are in for a dog fight with the hard charging Lions and Riders. The Esks have 12 points and you wouldn't normally be worried about a club with 4... but I am.

they're going to kick a FG shortly I'm sure, and then it's basically done.
