Letting Burris scamper in, even though he should have been tackled multiple times. Running the ball far too often on first down in the second half. Messam, we all know about him. The Esks beat themselves. Another bad game from Ray. Yikes.

Anyway, the Eskimos offence continues to stink and they'd better figure it out. 6-4 is a lot better than most of us thought they'd be by Week 11.

The Stamps were still napping tonight. The Eskimos were lucky that they didn't bring their world beater effort otherwise it could have been another 50 something to single digits effort.

At least the Oilers seem to be moving in a positive direction. Despite their 6-4 record the Eskimos are running on the spot.

We all saw what Ray could do in the past and I've been one of his most ardent supporters over the past five years but it's time to find a successor. I'm getting sick of sticking up for him year after year after year. This game should have been in the bag but the offence couldn't move the ball and Burris was on the field too damn much as a result.

It's also disheartening because the Stampeders' defence is generally considered to be a weak point.

yet managed almost 500 yards of offence tonight..the Esks haven't mustered that in weeks

the offence was decent last week but the defence stole the show and the Esks capitalized on the turnover the D created

I wouldn't call the offence "decent" last week. They were fortuitous.

I'm not absolving the defence because that fluke play at the end of the first half never should have happened but they did their job for the most part. They were on the field far too much.

Although the defence wasn't stellar in this one, I am not exactly sure how you can pin this on them.

They broke a few times but they also stopped a majority of what I thought were sure fire TD's.

The offence? What offense? Even Monday they were not exactly good, just good field position created by our D. I think there should be a good mix between throwing deep balls to set up the run and the run to set up deep balls. It's like we give up too soon on either and then it becomes a gong show. I hope Barnes is back soon and why the hell is Nowacki in the line up if Mass refuses to throw to him?

I'd like to know where Porter is. Am I missing something?

The offence is really ******** the bed on a regular basis. Several games now they've got nothing done.(Last weeks win was ENTIRELY based on defensive domination and turning the ball over and putting pts up for grabs.

This will be one of the few times I'm not on Ray. He had no help whatsoever. Messam? get in the ****ing game. Beyond useless tonight and may as well have been wearing red. Rodriguez was awful tonight. Stamps not yet in form.
Bowman again was about it.
The offensive line got beat all over the place tonight but the most disgusting facet is how poorly they got off the ball on running plays. FFS this is a home game, the crowd is allowing you to hear your own cadence. Theres no ****ing excuse in the world for how lame the running game looked tonight.
Should have had a lot more through the air as well.

Wasn't really expecting a win but this one was there for the taking all day. Too bad the offense didn't show for 3 quarters.

I pretty much agree on all accounts. The run-game was terrible, as a result of the o-line doing nothing.

I personally think the talent level of the CFL has been getting worse year by year. It is hard for me to get excited about the league anymore jmo.

Wow, how wrong can one person be? He's so bad he'll be in the NFL one day.

Also just as a statement the +45K crowd is pretty damned good. Pretty much everything between the goal lines was sold out. The endzone seats that are left aren't the best and would be hard to sell anywhere.

This is over 10K past what any other club has had all year. Nothing to sneeze about for a football club thats been lousy for years and absolutely layed a turd for 35K fans at Commonwealth last time out.

If this team puts any kind of Eskimos stamp on their game 50K crowds are not beyond the realm of possibility.

That said not sure whats up with the walk up crowd tonight. Essentially there was none. I had to work, not sure what was up with everybody else on a Friday Night.

I think a lot of people figured another stinker was in the mail.

Well to be fair, Toddy thinks the Coyotes are going to make a go of it and Mactavish is going to get another head coaching gig in the nhl.

He's George Costanza and every day is opposite day.

Yeah give it up on this comment.

The difference that Peach makes to this D is incredible. Anybody in the room would likely tell you that.
That said he's coming off an injury, was rushed into the lineup last week, played like his life depended on it, possibly the best guy on the field, then has 4 days to *rest* before going to war again.
Peach wasn't at his best tonight but to judge him on this game is ridiculously short sighted.

Lets all take a guess. You didn't even watch last weeks game.

Anyone who thinks Peach is a terrible player has the football IQ of a houseplant. He'll be a league all star before he heads south of 49.

We beat ourselves. That is it. Plain and simple. At least I had some satisfaction in booking my hotel and plane for the Grey Cup today...

Did John Chick catch on with another NFL team? I haven't been keeping tabs on that situation.

He took a practice roster spot? Interesting. I thought that he was set on a regular position.

I'm not much of a McCarty fan either. I want to see Porter in there.
