I have a horrible luck when it comes to the playoffs anyways, I have yet to attend a victory. The worst of which had to be the 6-0 loss to the Blues in 2003 when I had the most brutal flu of my life, yet insisting on going. The most recent was the game 5 loss to the Preds.
Just a guy from West Point Grey who can't make it to these games. Why should I sell them for a loss? Why can I not share in the profit if I took the risk?
I would rather sell them to someone at just below market prices who actually goes to the game. Not at a loss to an opportunist who would flip them for a profit.
By the way they are MY tickets to keep or to sell at MY discretion.
I probably wouldn't choose to sell them to you.
Calling a person derogatory names generally is not a good way to start a business transaction.
The ****? I know we had a crappy team back in the late 90's but I wouldn't mind going back now. My dad would get tickets for below $20. Remember the whole McDonalds promo? 4 tickets, and 2 happy meals for $101. Yikes, feels so long ago.
edit: Been to 3 playoff games. Game 4 in 2001 when we got swept, ugh. Game 2 R1 in 09, better memories but still boring. Game 5 in the WCF last year was perhaps the best investment in my life..

I'll give you $200 for the pair, jerk-face!
I completely agree with you and judging by where your tickets are, the markup is reasonable. People are just jealous!

So you own 2 sets of season tickets? 1 in the club section and one not? Interesting.
I have MY own season tickets. So thanks but no thanks. And that was pretty big assumption that I was starting a business transaction actually.
You are also selling those lower bowl (non club) seats for $450 each when the cost is $160 each. Forgive me if I believe that is a robbery.

The non club cost for the lower bowl tickets are $160?? Holy crap! That's like $18 more than the worst in house on ticketmaster.
Last year I went to Round 1 games 1, 5, and 7. Round 2 game 1, Round 3 games 2 and 5, and Round 4 games 1 and 2. My wallet got lighter, but I made some money on the side by taking advantage of the weakened ticket market for concerts where I basically short-sold tickets and made a decent profit.

I told ya so. I was right all along!
Well I grabbed a pair for $190 each for game 7, since that's all that was left upstairs in any of the games. Opposite corner the Canucks shoot on twice, row 13 ... $190. Amazing.
This is the offical Ticket Thread for the upcoming season. It is here you can announce you have tickets to give away, to trade for future games, to sell at or below face value to other fans. You can also make requests to purchase tickets for certain games.
Tickets can be bought/sold for personal use and cannot be sold at more than face value plus postage/UPS/FedEx charges.
Poster must post the ticket price.
HFBoards.com is not a forum you can use to sell tickets for profit.
Any educated guesses as to what dates the games will be on? I'm visiting from Sydney, AU specifically to see some playoff games as well as celebrate my birthday. I'm taking a guess at game 5 being on April 18 or 19 but don't want to buy tickets until I know for sure.
