Malkin without Crosby?

Expect him to jump back into form?

I have a manager considering Thornton and a pick for him...or would I be better off trying to draft one of these guys with my 2nd pick (Hall, Stewart, Gaborik, Backes)?

This is a 16-team dynasty (I'm the Sharks + Halak).

I wouldnt give Thornton+ a pick for Malkin, because Jumbo should score at a PPG this year ( 82 or more points) and if that pick is the 2nd, All the players have 60 point potential. Malkin is say 90 points if he comes back 100%, but the difference in player 2 is to steep imo.

Try and get the offer back.

I think Malkin will return to his 100+ point form this year, but if you're saying you can have Jumbo and Stewart (assuming you're refering to Chris Stewart)... that's probably 150-160 points. I keep what you have.

Yeah it was cancelled anyways - he traded Malkin for David Jones and an early 3rd round pick...I'm confused with that one.

So I'm probably going try go for Chris Stewart or Hall now.

Yeah I would have to fight the commish on this one since Malkin was traded to him. No one in my league seems to have mentioned anything. Am I missing something here?

A. That's collusion so speak up about it
B. Malkin will be a low 80's option without Crosby and low 90's option with him...ACL tear he will never be able to skate at 100% again and his mechanics weren't stellar to begin with so he should be downgraded in my opinion to the same level as Getzlaf, P.Kane, Backstrom, and Giroux which is low to mid 80's expected and 100 upside on any given season...this is what Malkin is post-ACL tear and with Crosby out of the picture he'll be playing to the lower end of that window

Who the hell trades Malkin for Jones + a 3rd? If this trade isn't vetoed, quit this league and find a new one.

Yup...not vetoed. Apparently, anyone has the freedom to manage how they want. Definitely doesn't make sense and he had a way better offer with me at least. Funny thing is only one other manager and I spoke up.

Here's another fun one...

Daniel Sedin for Andrei Kostitsyn + a couple late round picks...

Just so I don't screw everybody else in the league, I'm probably going to finish drafting and then find a replacement manager because I don't think I can handle these trades...I mean at least make them somewhat fair or logical...

Then you're just screwing the replacement manager, who will leave anyway. Suit yourself though, as long as you get a chance to draft in another league. Messages need to be sent to people in junk leagues like that though. I would just waive my entire roster to free agency and peace out.

find a new league...worst case scenario go play the CBS Gold league for $29.99...$150 to the winner, everyone is active, commission of CBSsports.com oversee's all trades so none of that nonsense goes down, competition is pretty good to where you're at least in a competitive league. Definitely worth it. They also have a great scoring system on top of it. Go to CBS do not waste time in this garbage league your in as it will only be more of the same from here.
