frans nielsen, imo hes kinda like a poor man's datsyuk, both are 5 11, under 200 pounds, excel in the defensive/transition parts of the game, fast, agile skaters and show tons of skill in the defensive zone and rarely get many penalties, datsyuk is just better at each of those things, they just play alot alike imo
Im going to say Jason Pominville. Quietly puts up 60+ points every year. Solid in the playoffs. Was an Iron Man before the cheapshot against Chicago. Two Way player. Plays PP and PK and has decent size at 6'1.
Yes he is overpaid at 5.3 mil a year, but if he was being paid 4.5 a year he would be a steal.
He is a top 15 RW, but to most he is thought of a second line player.
I think Nick Foligno's underrated. He doesn't really do anything exceptionally but he isn't bad in any aspect either. He started playing more like a power forward towards the end of the season when his confidence and ice time increased. He was driving the net hard with or without the puck and laying the body. I have a feeling he's going to have a 45 point season this year.
Kulemin is overrated by leafers by a lot, which cancels out any underrating by other fans and makes him on the level.
I like this logic.
Does this mean Leaf fans can safely predict the Leafs will win the cup every year based on how much the other fanbases like to troll them with the ever so original "LEAFS MADE A TRADE? PLAN THE PARADE LOL!"and speculate on lottery finishes?
