Quick Question if anyone can help me out.

I am moving to Montreal in 2 weeks and am bringing a car. I was told today cannot get in to get a Quebec License Plate / License until October 1. The problem is I need these in order to get a parking pass for the street by my new place. Do I just go without a pass for an entire month +?

This must be fairly common with people moving and not being able to get parking pass right away? What do people do?

Thanks in advance.

To all Habs fans in Edmonton

I've just created a group on Facebook for Habs fans who live in Edmonton and the area.
I thought it would be nice if people from red-blue-white Edmontoninans could meet up and watch out games together etc....

Roman Hamrlik still chilling in Montreal. Just saw him and his pincher at the dog park in Quartier Dix30. Oddly he was driving a Mazda 3.

No idea why but this thread reminded me of the time someone sitting behind me in a class saw I was surfing HFBoards and streaming a hockey game. At break he came up to me to ask what my username was and whether the Leafs were winning. Some reason I felt obligated to make up a random username and not mention I was watching the Habs game. True story.

Hey check out this metal band from Montreal, I figured this was an off-topic Montreal thread, so I thought I post something about these guys here. I'm American and I like these guys, can you Montrealers tell me more about this band? Are theyre gonna be doing any shows soon? or come to the USA?

Dentist

I'm looking for a affordable dentist in Montreal for cleaning my teeth, been almost 3 years since the last one. The one near my home cost almost 200$ ...

swedish house mafia tickets FOR TRADE

Hello fellow habs fans!

i have a proposal...i currently have tickets to the Swedish House Mafia ''concert'' (in quotations because i don't think its called a concert when DJ's are performing) and i am currently sitting in section 112.

i am in need of tickets to section 101! so if anyone is willing to trade, please contact me!

i have already contacted the bell centre, and they have informed me that section 101 is currently sold out.

if you have any questions about the tickets, feel free to message me

thank you!

Where to buy HABS merchandise in Edmonton?

I really want to buy a nice Canadiens sweatshirt and when looking on eBay, the decent ones have a pretty high but payable price, but the sh!itty part is that delivery costs 20+ more bucks. So, do you guys know where can I buy any of that in Edmonton?

I love the Habs(when they are playing), but why is anyone buying NHL merchandise or for that fact wearing NHL merchandise during this time, it is really the only way at this time to show our frustration, because admit it, once they come back we will all follow them like sheep and go back to buying merchandise, tickets etc.

There isn't much. Apart from Jersey City and Game On Sports in the malls, you could try Pro Hockey Life...they've got a decent clothing section. Not sure if they would have Habs hoodies though.

Agreed.

I mean you can do what you want obviously, but why someone would want to give these buffoons any money right now is beyond me.

Take a trip to Montreal, the girls in the City are worth it on their own. I wouldn't spend a cent on NHL gear till this mess is done & apologies are made.

Westjet flies to Montreal everyday, really great price!

Lies.

West Edmonton Mall has three "sports" stores : Jersey City, Game On Sports and Sport Chek. I really don't think you'll be able to find a Habs hoodie in these stores at this time of the year.

(I'm not counting Foot Locker or Champs...you won't find a Habs hoodie in there either.)

Ok I need help please.

Lived in Gatineau since i'm born. Girlfriend got a job in downtown montreal (square victoria). I could get a transfer to a service canada office in boucherville. We just got our first permanent job so we have to rent an appartement for another year.

Where should I look. I want to use the metro/train to go to work. Should I go to Laval? Boucherville? Don't want to stay inside the big city..

Please help me
