there is nothing wrong with taking your time with a prospect. The big club has enough options as is. Let the guy continue to develop. You can tell he's got skills just keep working hard and he will eventually be up with the big club.
The skill and heart are there. He has a lot going for him.
And when I mention him getting into vulnerable spots its because im concerned. I hope he can start putting on weight and strengthen his core so he can be more bullish.
Two years for him, id think. One more in Junior. One in the AHL.
Would make him an NHL rookie at the ripe old age of 21.
