In my keeper cap league, I'm definitely one of the favorites to win it all. However, my current goalie is Craig Anderson. As much as I love Andy, I'm concerned the Sens situation will cost me wins and goals allowed throughout the season.
2 points for win, -2 for loss, 5 for SO, 3 for 1 GA, 2 for 2 GA, 1 for 3 GA.
So goalie points can rack up quickly. Is it worth renting a guy like Dwayne Roloson for the year? The Lightning should win a lot of games, and every time they allow two or fewer will be a huge boost.
Right now someone has said they'd take J. Stoll and 2nd (should be really late, and we keep our entire roster, so it's basically rookies and vets) for Roloson.
Is Rolo that much of an upgrade on Anderson? There's also a playoff portion as well - so those that make the playoffs can contribute then.
I think in terms of wins and goals against, Rollie will be an upgrade over Anderson. Don't get me wrong, I think Andy will have a good season, but I see Tampa as a contender next year, and Rollie being a reason, Andy will be working hard as always, but to keep Ottawa out of the basement.
