still, Kuznetsov has clearly more potential (also a bit younger while coming off shoulder surgery) and i don't think your stats are updated.

Ah, yes, now it's 7 less points in 3 less games... And he's 5 months younger...

Kuznetsov named KHL forward of the month. He'll suit up for Russia in the next stage of the Euro Hockey Tour beginning with an outdoor game next Thursday in Helsinki.

Caps' 2011 draftee Pat Koudys can be seen tonight (Friday) on NBCSN (formerly Versus) when RPI plays Cornell at 7:30 PM EST. http://www.rpiathletics.com/news/201...125121357.aspx

Koudys wears #4 for RPI

and if you get the sports channels, Providence at UNH is also on tv tonight at 7:30 on the CBS sports network. Caps draft pick Greg Burke #26, plus local players Sorkin and Thrush play for UNH.

RPI forward Pat Cullen (19) is from DC (I think earlier Ashburn, VA), and Matt Tinordi (28, Mark's son) is from Millersville, MD.

yes, thanks, I should have noted; some Caps fans may recall that Cullen attended development camp a couple of summers ago, too. And there's Cullen with an assist as RPI ties it up. game ends tied at 2

UNH wins 3-1, Sorkin with 2 assists

Haar had an assist on the GWG in WMU's 2-1 win over Alaska Fairbanks.

e; Only saw the 3rd + OT. Wasn't impressed with Koudys, and I don't think he's taken a shift in OT yet. Good size and okay positioning (not terrific), but he wasn't overly physical and couldn't really close out his guys in open ice. Skating was the biggest flaw in his game. Simply not a good enough skater, imo.

This is my first viewing of him, and it was obviously limited. So take with a grain of salt.

Thanks for the review; have it on DVR; saw the 2nd goal, but was watching the Bears (meltdown) game on the computer so have to watch the college games later.

UMD game still to be played since playing in Alaska later tonight.

That is in line with my opinion. He seemed to be playing better earlier in the season. I don't know if it is a lack of confidence or a nagging injury.

Galiev cleared:
Quote:
Galiev was in Washington to visit with the surgeon who repaired his left wrist and said his Wednesday morning appointment was a good one.

He said its healed and Im ready to go, Galiev said. I cant wait.

The 20-year-old left wing said he plans on being in the lineup next Friday night for the Saint John Sea Dogs, who are looking to defend their 2011 Quebec League and Memorial Cup titles.

Pretty sure Kuznetsov just picked up a secondary assist on Chistov's goal.

Really can't wait to see him in a physical leauge with a structured, team-work based system.

I think he has the skills to flourish and hopfully the drive and mental toughness to overcome the growing pains.
