Brian Gionta on Zdeno Chara, no injury or harm done, gets suspended 10 games, riots ensue.

Cooke, predictable as ever.

I hope to see Kane vs. Cooke, Pt. II this season.

matt cooke. that guy should be banned from ever playing in the nhl. id like to see how he would like it with an elbow to the chops.

next time he delivers a hit like that instead of suspending him make him take a good shot to the chops at full tilt.

thats my take

Cooke is going to be watched like a hawk, even a borderline hit will see him get punished.... so yes my money is on Cooke.

im going to go off the grid and say nathan horton, since he took the last hit to the head last year, he'll hand the 1st on out this year

lol
and its Matt Cooke on the receiving end( out for the season)
people shocked at the length of suspension esp considering the receipient....... majority of NHL kick into a slush fund for Horton

incl a few notable pens player

Take your pick of:

Torres
Cooke
Gilles

My gut says Torres though.

If I'm betting my life savings: Cooke

If I'm guessing just for the heck of it: Cooke

Has never been suspended even once, neil is hardnosed but hardly a cheapshot master.

PS. Please do not bring up the Dury hit, which was legal at the time anyway.

Taking the safe bet: Cooke. Hopefully this time Penguins fans don't make celebratory avatars after said hit.

It won't be one of the usual suspects (Cooke, Richards, Downie etc.).

I'm going to go a little off the board and say Victor Hedman. Just because of his height, I think he'll get caught going too high on a player.
