This is great news, he can play on our power play. From my understanding hes pretty solid offensively... well the 18 points in 50 games last year and 34 points in 73 games 2 years ago say so atleast

God no. I want Larsson learning nothing from Sal. Sal with Stralman is a brutal defensive pairing to. Unless Salvador shows he can be a decent again and not play like he did before he got injured.

As for Fayne and Tao let them run the PP in Albany. See if they can develop some chemistry.

I really liked Bernier when he was in Vancouver, but he didn't look great in Florida. Maybe he can be our Grabner?

Also, what are the chances Salvador doesn't make the team? Does is salary earn him a spot outright? I don't think I see him playing in Albany, but I almost think I'd rather have Fayne on the roster opening night.

Former Devil Petr Sykora has been invited to camp with the Devils as a tryout.

Bizarro Petr hasn't played in the NHL since 2006.

I knew Strålman got invited weeks ago, but I promised not to report anything since the Parise contract.

I like Strålman's game a lot. He's got great vision, a great shot and he's a righty. I think he'll make the team.

But Sykora?! Wtf? And Bernier is sloooow... I'd rather see our kids in our lineup. I don't see him making the team.
