I've made it clear that I am reluctantly on board with the "Kesscelation of Commitment"-era of Maple Leaf management. I maintain that we could have been much higher in the standings if management hadn't otherwise squandered an attempt to fix the problems of the post lockout rosters. However, I have been content as of late that Burke has shifted to a more conservative method of management.

Clearly my post, that you have no chance of understanding, demonstrates that I was ONCE a "We Have The Chance To Acquire Star Talent"-advocate.

I can't wait until midseason. This year is going to be fun (we have a top 15 guaranteed pick)!!!!!

I comprehended just fine(what I read of it). See my last post. Guess you haven't. First step is admitting. Come on you can do it.

Look at this, he can talk. Not to me though.

1) Your statistical analysis is novice
2) Your economic reasoning is non-existent
3) You don't live up to the name "Courage" at all, old man

In your simple little world, you believe that swapping the lawn chairs is going to bring us better players. Sorry Casino Jack, the draft has a better success rate. That's why a "tanking" team like Philadelphia was able to leapfrog the Leafs in a short time, and not only that, but keep a steady supply of young talent. Such so, that their lineup of prospects+JVR (what do you know? 2nd overall) was able to beat a Leafs team of mostly veterans.

Continue ignoring my original response chicken. Back your nonsense up.

BTW, in case you can't count.

Carolina - 2006 Champs - Eric Staal (2nd overall, 2003) (1)
Pittsbugh -2009 Champs - Crosby, Malkin, Staal, Fleury (2)
Chicago - 2010 Champs - Kane, Towes (3)
Boston - 2011 Champs - Kessel (4)

The key distinction is that Boston bottomed out for the 2005/2006 season following the lockout to scoop up Phil Kessel. I haven't even included big market teams like Washington, Philly, LA, and Tampa.
