Ticket Exchange 2011-2012

It's that time of year again. With mini-packs currently being purchased and single game tickets soon to be going on sale, this seems like a good time to put up the annual thread.

Remember that there is absolutely no scalping. This includes selling a hockey card and including some "free" tickets. All sales must be made at or below face value.

Here's some information that may be useful for buyers and sellers:

Seating rows:

Gold/Silver Club, Executive: 1-18
Executive Terrace: 21-24
Terrace: 25-31
Colonnade: 32-36/39
Gallery: 42-53

Single game ticket prices and on-sale dates

Mini-pack games and prices

Please keep in mind that HFBoards also does not sponsor/endorse any deals . Buyer beware.

edit: This thread, and HF, is NOT a ticket broker. Several volume ticket resellers have been identified and banned from the thread.

This is not the place of mass volume purchase, or sale, of tickets. The conducting of such business here can result in ban from the thread, infractions, or in identified scalpers being banned from the board.

Thank you.

I've tried to get this info from the Oilers but without success.

Are individial game tickets on sale yet?

I'm assuming that games are not generally sold out, is that correct?

I'm thinking of coming to Edmonton on November 19, a Saturday to watch them play the Hawks. Will there likely be tickets for sale, or am I stuck on the secondary market?

Thanks to those who reply.

No individual games are not on sale yet. Most games do sell out, but there is a certain portion that are held for individual game sales. So if I were you I'd wait until they go on sale and buy them shortly after they are released. But if you're thinking of waiting until game day then I'd say no they won't be available then. A Saturday night game against the Hawks is sure to be a sellout.

Not sure where you are, but the best bet for tickets is usually this thread, or here.

Tickets sold here will be face value or less. You may have more selection on Kijiji at the link I provided. Either way there is always tickets available, even if you were to walk around the building just before the game.

This ad has two decent seats for the game you are looking for...

Thanks to both of you for your suggestions.

I actually live in Calgary, but am a Hawks fan first and formost.

Historically been a Flames fan second, but the Sutters have driven much of that fun out of the game for me.

I think your team is on the right track, and will soon be better than Calgary. At least you have youth and upside, instead of an aging roster with little place to go but down.

I have never seen a game in Edmonton, looking forward to it.

Thanks again.

Prolly a repeat post in spirit, but oilers.com won't let me get tickets for the Canucks game on the 15th of October - are they not on sale yet?

I was holding out hope that I could get 2 or 3 tickets. Ok, thanks, I'll keep an eye out.

Any chance someone is willing to part with Home Opener tickets? Looking in Gallery -> Collonade area. 2-4 would be ideal!

Probably best to just ask someone got selected in priority draw to see of they can purchase for you guys, but you'll probably have to take the entire package of 3-5 games, whatever it is. I think both the Pittsburgh and Washington packs include 3 games, priced between $500/pack (collonade) and $800/pack (executive terrace), so you may as well take the pack, as getting tickets to these games may cost almost as much. Iirc, the last time the Penguins and Capitals were here, my friend ended up buying a pair of tickets from scalpers in terrace level for $450 for the Pens and $400 for the Caps, both of which he thought were steals of deals even though they were double the face values. To each his own, I suppose.

Yeah, I'll be getting a mini pack with a friend, but we're not sure about the Home Opener pack, since the only game in it we're all able to attend IS the home opener, so just wanted to see if there were perhaps some singles around.

Thanks guys, looks like it'll be a tough find. Saw gallery seats for $555 on Stub Hub.

Full Season Seats

If anyone has a pair of decent collonade or gallery season seats and wants to part with the full set let me know. I have a buddy who wants to buy a full season. No outrageous prices please. PM me if you have something.

Thanks.

Mini pack advance sale date is today....I am selling the value packs for $550/pair in oppose to $598+tax+conveniencefee/seat which is what Oilers are charging. My seats are 2nd row gallery towards the attacking side and right above the handle bar. Send me a PM if you are interested.

You save about $80+ just buying it from me instead of from them. You be the judge!

Another longshot. Looking for one or two tickets to the home opener vs. Pittsburgh. Would pay FV or do a straight up trade for tickets to the Oilers game vs. Washington in October. I really want to go to this game!

Could anybody who has used stubhub.com give me some feedback on the website maybe? I've never used it before and I'm from Saskatchewan so getting tickets online is the easiest for me right now so just wondering how legit and safe these guys are. Thanks.

I've never used the service, but I've got friends who have and they've claimed no problems, so I'm guessing you're good to go...they've been around for a while, so maybe there's some consolation there, too.

Maybe also try FanXchange, too.

Bought the Ovech-Kane minipack, but I only got one ticket... so I'm going to have to go alone in those games which will be super awkward. Any experiences, people?

I got the $298 one.. In Section 235, Row 3X

Does anyone know how many seats are in a row? (or, how the numbering is done.. Would like to know where in that row I'm sitting without actually disclosing my seat number)

I picked up a pair for the weekend mini-pack:
Quote:
Oilers vs. Flames (Pre-Season)
Sat 09/24/11
6:00 PM

Oilers vs. Blue Jackets
Fri 12/02/11
7:30 PM

Oilers vs. Avalanche
Fri 12/09/11
7:30 PM

Oilers vs. Ducks
Fri 01/13/12
7:30 PM

Oilers vs. Coyotes
Sat 02/25/12
2:00 PM

Oilers vs. Kings
Fri 03/30/12
7:30 PM
They're gold seats, row 3, by the opposing teams bench (closer to an Oiler attack twice )

Anyways, I'd be interested in trading tickets or selling some to recoup costs. If anyone has a pair for the Pittsburgh home opener, I would trade 1 pair of gold seats for a pair of 300s to that one if you got for example. PM me if you have an offer. At the moment, I'll sell you a pair at my cost, but I have about 3 friends interested in coming with me already.
