Could anybody who has used stubhub.com give me some feedback on the website maybe? I've never used it before and I'm from Saskatchewan so getting tickets online is the easiest for me right now so just wondering how legit and safe these guys are. Thanks.
I've used it before, and it's great. I have bought MLB tickets through the service, and I just download the tickets at home and take them with me when I travel. Easy, and it was always cheaper than buying tickets through the official transaction place like Ticketmaster. StubHub works in conjunction with the team anyway, so the downloads go through the team website.
Bought the Ovech-Kane minipack, but I only got one ticket... so I'm going to have to go alone in those games which will be super awkward. Any experiences, people?
I've done it, no shame. When the Oilers sold half-price singles, yeah, my friends and I would do that often and just meet up at intermissions, or sometimes I would just go alone. It's not a big deal as long as you're sitting next to someone decent. Just say hi when you sit down and make a little small talk during the commercial breaks or something. Oilers fans can bond over anything, you'll either both be agreeing that Horcoff sucks or he'll disagree and you can argue vehemently about why he's wrong.
And if by chance the person beside you sucks and wants to watch the game in silence, whatever, it's just three games, just watch and enjoy. My biggest problem is I have a hard time not muttering under my breath at the players or refs, so yeah, when you're alone, THAT can make you look a little crazy.
Both me and my buddy are travelling last two weeks of september so can't make any of the oilers pre-season games. We're therefore selling our tickets. Seats and prices are as follows:
Pair in SEC 301, ROW 49 - $200
Pair in SEC 215, ROW 33 - $320 (SOLD)

If you want to buy individual games, I'll sell them for $150/pair/game. Again, these tix are right at centre ice, with excellent view of entire ice surface.
Looking to buy some tickets on Kijiji for the Oct 20 OIlers vs Wild game - is this a fair price or would I be getting gouged?

I'd sell you a pair of tickets to that game for $130. My seats are in the corner and about 10 rows higher, but I don't think there is a hundred dollar difference in the view.
