Expected nothing less from Harding. Classy dude. Below is also the gear he'll be wearing for the year as well as Backstrom's in Backstrom's locker room stall.

It's a really ugly mask, but classy move.

I know he played with Demitra and Boogaard in Minnesota. Did he ever play with Rypien? Maybe in junior?

Yes he did, hence the 11 instead of 37.

Did not know that. Learn something new everyday.

Very classy.

I don't think it's that ugly. It's pretty plain, but not really ugly...

Very cool move - one of my favorite players. Hope he gets a starting spot next year.

Looks like it says "RIP Rosemarie Harding" on the rose. For his mother, maybe?

His sister had cancer but survived.

Rypien was his team's captain in junior. I believe a while back Harding said he was the best captain he'd ever had.

Great guy, always interesting to see his masks. This isn't one of my favorites, but it's surely expresses the feelings of Harding and fellow NHLers.

I couldn't believe that when I heard it. I've heard Rypien was a tremendous guy but you would think a C in the NHL would take that instead of a C in the WHL.

Love the mask and classy tribute! The colour scheme is OK too; normally it's better when there's more colour/design etc IMO, but in this case I think especially w/all the extra lettering on the back too much design/colour would've made it too "busy", and may have even detracted from the tribute. Hopefully other players will do similar tributes, especially goalies w/their masks.
