"...the official tattoo shop of the New York Islanders"

Quote:
The New York Islanders announced today an agreement to designate Tattoo Louís as the official tattoo shop of the New York Islanders Hockey Club Ė this is the first time a professional sports franchise has ever designated an official tattoo shop.

Awesome.

Gilles should get one on his forehead that says "Insert brain here" with an arrow pointing up.

King's were sponsored by Rocco's Old School Tattoo all season last season. Is that not in essence the same thing?

Rocco's isn't a tattoo studio, but they sell products to maintain (and heal) tattoos.

I'm sorry but anyone who has a sports teams logo permanently drawn on their body has issues. The only exception is if they're an athlete who actually played for that team. And even then, ehhhh....

Nah, he wouldn't be able to understand what it says when he tries to read it in the mirror. Would prob just end up punching the mirror out of fear that there's a stranger in there.

As someone who likes tattoos I think it's a pretty cool idea to have a tattoo parlor at the Coliseum. Looking forward to checking it out.

good thing your opinion doesnt mean anything to those people who do have a team logo tattoo. I'm not a fan of tattoos at all but some people are lifelong fans and have extremely fond memories watching or attending games with family members and friends. Some people are more passionate than you about the sport or their team...doesn't mean they have issues..

edit: your post per day count is just under 12, one could argue that you have issues

I don't think you quite understand how this works. They are just the offcial tattoo parlor of the team, they won't be at the games. Its a way to advertise. Just like Honda is the official vehical of the NHL, but they don't have dealerships at the arena's.

The deal calls for Tattoo Lou's to set up in the concourse at ten Islanders home games this year. The shop, which has five locations on Long Island, will have two artists and one piercer at those games.

I don't understand the idea of a tattoo parlor at the arena. A tattoo isn't something you're going to get in five minutes during intermission, you're going to miss a decent chunk of the game getting it done. I mean, yeah I'm sure they'll have t.v.s, but that kind of defeats the purpose of seeing a game live.
