I was thinking to myself "who the **** put Toskala in net?!"
Better than my Kari Lehtonen, who has a 5GAA, and a .750SV%
My random euro backup is 10x better than him

lucky. I spent over 20k too, got garbage. I'd estimate that I have purchased well over 100k of these jumbo's in the past 2 months and the best collectable I got was a Lombardi. My friend recently started buying the 2.5 jumbo's and has a Datsyuk, Stamkos, MA Fleury, and has at least gotten 3 +5 all's. Trying to sucker him into trading me the Datsyuk for a trained but expensive Lucic.

I've played that guy before. It's annoying. He's not using the salary cap.

Since then, I've insisted that everyone cycle through the line-up before a game starts. If a player refuses to cycle through, I back out.

I don't understand why people bury their legends on a 2nd or 3rd line in an effort to hide them on the line-up screen. It is a bit amateurish.

Not a steal, it is a good deal, but not a steal.

Finally got the 1st line I've always wanted on HUT:

Parise 95 - Zajac 92 - Kovalchuk 92

I always wonder why guys like Jordan Eberle sell for so much. Other guys on Edmonton like Brule are better overall players with the same amount of training slots and they sell for only a few hundred pucks.

It has to do with rarity/name.

Had someone with the exact same team ratings as me back out of a match three times. My current lineup is only 86-84-80 right now.

I don't know what it is about playing in the finals of tournaments of playoffs, but I have the absolute ********* luck when it's the last game.

I was playing the "Tough Guy" tourney for the 1.2 constant modifier, make it to the finals, and all game long my players are bobbling or whiffing on passes or loose pucks, having sticks break/drop (without penalties)... I lose Granlund (97) to injury blocking a shot. Then Quick has it covered when it's 1-1 and inexplicably plays the puck, directly into the goal... A few minutes later I pass from my RW to my RD in the neutral zone - he misses the pass for no reason, it bounces against the end boards and right onto Quick's stick, and of course it's immediately pokechecked in by the other team's forward.

I didn't even bother finishing the game, it was just so absurd how everything was piling up on me. My passing % had to be below 25% despite the guy not forechecking well.

Jumbos this weekend suck

Spent about 50k on jumbos and got a 80 game contract that's it. I wish I had those pucks back and my time

Got 11k for jumbos from stuff I sold so far from the 20k I spent the other day...

Ended up with some decent cards (Jimmy Howard, Duncan Keith, several +9 goalie cards, Yakupov)

last pack I could afford... 80 gamer!

Actually had a few decent pulls myself this past weekend. Opened about seven packs. First pack I opened I got Kesler and J. Staal. Nothing else real noticeable until I pulled Zdeno Chara. I had no idea he sold for 10,000 pucks until I looked at the auctions. I thought he only sold for a few thousand. In any case I sold him right away for 9,500.

Unfortunately I had bought an UT SOTW Kari Lehtonen before I started opening packs as I plan on using him as my no. one goalie for now and what do you suppose I happen to pull in my last jumbo? That's right, a SOTW Lehtonen. FML. Wasted a few thousand pucks buying him. From now on I'm waiting until after I open some jumbos to buy players.

I came across an UT Stamkos for 22,000 and at the time I had the pucks to buy it but I didn't. So stupid. He sold not more than a minute after I saw him. He'd only been up for auction for about five minutes too. I bet I could've made a pretty nice profit had I bought him and re-sold him.

I've got such a pimp team... I think it's time I finish things and play online...

Got a line of Yakupov, Galchenyuk and Ritchie (all have 90+ game contracts, original salary) and all are 90+ (Yakupov and Galchenyuk are close to all 99's)

Then a line of Winterhawks (Niederreiter, Johansen and Bartschi) all are nearly 99's and 90+ games

Not to mention I've got two sick goalies at 90+ games (one is Pickard, forget who my other was)

plus I've got FOUR 80 gamers to use for 2 sweet defensive lines. Thinking of going with Some St. John's defenders there. Not sure yet though.

With the addition of Allen (Peoria) as my back-up to SOTW Lehtonen, my team's salary is exactly 27,000/27,000.

Just sold my D. Samuels for 9,500 so I've got enough pucks to finish buying consumables to use on my 3rd and 4th lines then my team will be complete. I can buy Fiddler for like 500 so I don't think it's worth having a slightly better coach when I can sell him for like 10,000 pucks.

IS D. Smauels the coach that gives you +2 to all 5 stats?

IF you have one of these 5 guys (must be on DEL Muchen team), I will trade you ROBIN LEHNER (128 games remaining) and BRENT BURNS (78 games remaining) for it.

Jens Olsson - D
Klaus Kathan - LW
David Cespiva - D
Noah Clarke - LW
Stephane Julien - D

Yep. I got him for a Buy Now Price of 300 a couple weeks ago. What moron would sell him for just 300?

Anyways I used him for a couple weeks but I needed to sell him to complete my team. I've always wondered though if you have a player that has a stat at 99 and you have a coach that increases that stat, will it go over 99 then? Like with Samuels would your 99 stat go up to 101 or is 99 the limit?

I've had more than 1 of him before... I had no idea he was worth anything....

What coaches are worth more than 100 pucks?

Samuels is worth about 10,000 pucks and Abbott is worth about 3,000 pucks. Abbott is the same as Samuels except he's for goalies' stats (I'm sure you already knew that though). There's two other coaches that are worth about 500. G. Richards (goalie) and B. Fiddler (skater). They're something like +2 to three different stats and +1 to one other stat and a +0 to one stat.

I think the cards on the weekend jumbos are what they are. You'll never really pull anything. Maybe you get better cards if you buy points rather than using pucks.
