I played a little HUT in 11, trying to get into it a little more now. I've bought several jumbo packs and dont have a single NHL top 2 line center. What's the trick to getting one? I don't have a lot of pucks either to spend in trading, maybe 2500...
Your best bet is to buy jumbo packs. sell whatever rare cards you get ( boosts, contracts, etc) for whatever the going value is ( usually 1000+ pucks) and then just bid on whatever player you want. also, for all those 50-70 OV players that you never use and just send to your collection, you can chose to discard them and get more pucks.

Every single time I go into my trade pile my game freezes and every time I try to play online it says an error has occcured transferring your HUT team's data and then kicks me out. Game needs some updates really bad.
I saw a brand new Statsny up for sale yesterday for just 3,000 pucks but I didn't have enough pucks to buy it. God I coulda made like 5,000 pucks buying and reselling that. It got bought within 15 seconds after I saw it. Wanted to get Kesler to put on my right wing but the cheapest one is like 15,000 pucks so I got a Bergeron for just 4,000 instead. I overpaid for Grabner big time which was a mistake but I didn't feel like waiting for a better deal to appear. My best deal so far, and probably ever, was getting a Large North American Arena yesterday for just 50 pucks. Currently looking for an unused Duchene but haven't found one that's not overpriced yet.
I mostly play offline, and I only play like 5 minute games. It won't let me change my lines unless I am on special teams. None of my top line gets fatigued, but I don't want to use my Benn, Staak, Knuble top line all the time. Sometimes I want to get some use of Bissonette, Fisher, Crabb, Boyce, etc.
**** that ****, I want my 7.5k back. I worked hard for those pucks and now they're gone, and I have NOTHING to show for it. I could have made a good D pair by buying Suter-Burns, but nope. ****
i HATE how goalies get fatigued after 1 game !!! and the only way to get un fatigued is to put them as backup, but good thing is they dont lose a game for being backup on nhl 12

i had that problem on nhl 11 hopefully i dont on 12

yes
Put players from the same league/team on the same line. Doesn't matter too much though.
I buy contracts for 100-200. Then I play the market to get good players. I bought a jumbo and got **** so I'm just buying the guys I want for now.

just go to the ea online chat ... there very nice, and get it fixed for you asap
i had to clear all of my game data and some other stuff but it works perfectly now

Happened to me with Landeskog haha. Someone had an untouched one for 1k BIN lmao. Sold it for 7k an hour later (could have gotten more but I put a BIN by accident, had a huge bidding war from 4k (starting price) up to 7k.)
God fuçking dammit. I won my first game 3-1 (single-player), game ends, I get 354 Pucks, then it some little black message appears and says I lost connection to EA servers, then it says Leaving HUT. The game freezes, I restart and come back to find that my fuçking record is 0-1-0 (instead of 1-0-0) and I have no pucks. What. The. Fuçk.
Anyone dealing with the glitchy wins? I win 4 games in a row for offline tournie, don't get any wins, actually they counted as losses and I didn't receive any pucks and I have to redo the tournament. Just garbage.
How many pucks have most of you guys accumulated so far? I got 6,000 to start from playing 11, and have been strictly playing the market for 3 or 4 days. Now up to 43,000 pucks, which is way more than I've ever had. Now I can actually start putting a team together.
