I think the cards on the weekend jumbos are what they are. You'll never really pull anything. Maybe you get better cards if you buy points rather than using pucks.
i've pulled 80 gamers, +5 alls, an oiler gretzky... you can definitely get rare cards in the jumbos. it is just that it is rare to get something really awesome. jumbo mega deal is really the only time buying packs is worth it though, otherwise just play the market.
I think it's just that you have a lesser chance of getting quality picks from mega jumbos...
I've pulled several 80 gamers, many +5 all, some quality players and quality prospects (several Johansen, Couturier, Landeskog, etc.) and I've pulled ELITE cards (Malkin, All-Star Stamkos, Gretzky).
It's possible, but I feel the chances of getting GOOD jumbos are much less at 2.5k than 7.5k
Other than winning the pro playoffs this weekend I was horrible. I think I lost 9 of the next 13 games after the playoff win.
Suddenly this week though I've been playing great. I beat some dude who's 36th in the world as well as a few teams who were all high 90s in the three categories and I'm 20-2-0 this week with a 15 game win streak.
Put up almost my entire collection for 150 pucks each.
Nothing really good though, Crosby + malkin with like 20 games left each, J Staal boosted to 94 with almost full career, Tavares with only a few GP, Brad Richards, Morrow, Benn.
Calling it a career, got as high as like 195 in world rankings and don't want to play anymore.

Just opened 4 jumbos, actually got some good stuff. Got a Kostopoulos, Dupuis (Avs), Leddy, Setoguchi, some +7 and +9s, Benn, Pronger, Horton and a WC Bruins jersey.

I've got about 20k for packs, so I could open about 15 with that (anything I don't need I just pitch immediately)
Opened a few jumbos but didn't get anything noteworthy. Just a +3 All skater along with a couple +2 All skater. Trying to save up a bunch of pucks so I'm not always riding on nearly 0 when I construct a new team.
For the 2nd weekend in a row though I got a M. Abbott goalie coach for 500. Should make a nice small profit from it.
Bought a Ray Bourque card with 169 games remaining (11 played), with a +5 all on him for 20k pucks. Is that a decent steal? How much could I get for it on the market?
